What we did like, a lot of restaurants, a lot of hotels.
What we did like, a lot of restaurants, a lot of hotels. We ate at hooters, and we did take out from the cook out. We got chicken on both occasions and it was delicious. What we didn't like was the traffic. For us it was insane. Although where we stayed it was easy getting to all the locations we wanted.

I went to college in Greensboro and loved it then.
I went to college in Greensboro and loved it then. It is a cultural center, has art and historical museums and is a higher educational center with large city advantages but small town feel.
Moving around is fairly easy and the city has variety in things to do and diversity in eating establishments.

MY STAY WAS INTERUPTED BY A POWER OUTAGE. WHY ON EARTH DOES A MAIN HOTEL CHAIN DOESN'T HAVE BACKUP GENERATORS. I WAS IN TOWN TO BURY A LOVED ONE AND HOW TO SHOWER AND DRESS IN THE DARK. AND STAFF HAD NO IDEA WHEN POWER WOULD RETURN. WHEN I CHECKED OUT POWER WAS STILL OUT. TOTAL,LY RUINED THE TRIP UP UNTIL THAT POINT I HAD DECIDED TO STAY IN TOWN ONE MORE NIGHT AND HAD TO BOOK ELSEWHERE. TOTALLY RUINED MY TRIP A COMPLEMENTARY NIGHT WOULD BE THE CORRECT THING TO DO

I experienced a great controversy upon check in concerning how I confirmed and reserved my room. After much debate and negotiating I was granted the permission or should I say my method of reservation/payment was granted.

Greensboro is a great city. Restaurants are top notch.
Greensboro is a great city. Restaurants are top notch. There are plenty of "green spaces" for walking, bicycle riding, bird watching. It has a Trader Joe's and I always shop there when I am visiting Greensboro.
There is the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts featuring Broadway shows/musicals, comedians, concerts, and other events. Hosted by Guilford College is the Bryan Series - featuring talks by authors, television anchors/journalists, movie producers, activists, change-makers, etc.
Greensboro is a great city.
I did not make this reservation. I reported the fraudulent
To Fateem last night as soon as I learned of it. He said there was nothing he could do about it because bookings.con made it and prepaid it. How your company obtained my email and my wife’s credit card number will be investigated. I believe this was done intentionally by the agent I spoke to while looking for a room at a Marriott property at the airport. At no time did I make a reservation. If the conversation was truly recorded and not erased, you will have proof.
The facilities and cleanliness were up to my expectations for Hampton Inns (they are our go-to chain hotel when we are on the road). This hotel was quite good based on our overall experience with Hamptons. The staff was friendly and the breakfast items fresh. The price of these hotels keep creeping up but we can count on their overall high quality for the basics (we don't use the pool or exercise rooms so can't rate those). Definitely recommend this Hampton Inn to anyone staying in or passing through the Greensboro area.
The room was nice and comfortable. However both tvs in the room did not work. The front desk attendant came up to try and fix them but couldn't so that was unfortunate. We had some extremely noisy neighbors above us late at night so we did have to call down to the desk to see if they could ask them to be quiet which I'm assuming they did because the noise quieted down eventually. Lastly this hotel did have the best continental breakfast. So that was a plus. Overall it was a decent stay.
The staff was AMAZING - helpful, kind, friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the modernity and cleanliness of the hotel given the low price I paid for it. I don't know how old the hotel is, but it seemed brand new to me. The bathroom and shower were awesome, as were the mattresses and bedding quality. Coffee available 24/7 was a nice bonus. I have never written a review before but was so pleased with this hotel that I felt compelled to share. Well done!
Location was fantastic! Very close to restaurants, university and downtown Greensboro. Keith, our host, was delightful. He has made staying at the cottage very convenient. While we indeed shared a bathroom with other guests, we NEVER saw the other guests during our stay...so no inconvenience. In addition, the price for a room was significantly less than for nearby hotels.
Food was amazing in the restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and spacious. Bar and cocktails were great. There is a guitar in the bar area that people can use which is a nice touch and we used it.
Pool is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Canceled once I saw the room and smelled all the smells at the hotel. Lobby and check in lady nice. Got to hallway. No way!!! Then to room. Nah!!!! Would not stay there. I'd b afraid to put my feet on the floor
I really like the location of the property. in the centre of Greensboro. the parklot adjacent to the hotel is great. the beds were super comfy. the lobby/bar area downstairs is great and nice to hang out in
I liked the room and the pool area. The room had a good amount of space and allowed me plenty of room to move around in. The pool area was nice and clean and was fun to use.
The neighborhood was clean and quiet. It was comfortable taking daily walks and neighbors were friendly. The house is 20 minutes from Greensboro airport which is a plus.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was nice and the shower had good pressure. Parking was easy and right next to the hotel even though the location is downtown.
This location was very convenient. It was close to restaurants, the convention center, shopping and grocery stores. The room and bathroom was nice and clean.
