East Syracuse was a nice place.
East Syracuse was a nice place. It was cold but it was fine. The changing of the leaves was visible and they were beautiful. There are different things to do this time of the season. It was time for apple picking and pumpkins everywhere you went. I was able to get fresh corn to bring back to the city, I love going this time, it is a good way to relieve the stress from the city.

We were passing thru and so we stop to sleep from 12:30 -5am...

The elevator did not work & when I asked when it would be fixed, the attendant told me it would take about two years! They said that the company was awaiting parts! Two years? C’mon! Motel 6 was nasty. Customer service was horrible. Had issues right from time we checked in. No toilet paper in the room, no bed spread on the bed. Fridge didn't work, and then found couckroaches. There is no manager on site and when you ask to speak with one the help doesn't want to get the manager on the phone. Waited in the lobby 25 minutes until someone actually showed up at the desk . I think we were the only guest at the hotel. The ceiling tiles were falling down , the lobby bathrooms were filthy, first impression of the outside was it looked abandoned. When we asked for a refund it wasn't a problem , but I couldn't get a receipt because they didn't have a printer.

Absolutely loved that there was ample free parking. A rare find in the US. There is Chuck E Cheese just before the hotel driveway, which would be convenient for long stays with kids.
