Quaint town with good food. Not a lot of people.

Quaint town with good food. Not a lot of people. If you are looking for night life or lots of thing to do, it's not for you. There are a couple of coffee shops, 1/2 a dozen restaurants, 2 mini golfs, a water park, and some small shops. if you want a quiet get away, then it's perfect.

Every employee I encountered was personable, kind, helpful and knowledgeable, they were like family. I chatted with many, having wonderful conversations pertaining to many factors of life. Bright, cheerful, helpful, clean, beautiful view. What more could one need! PS. I truly hope the corporation compensates these wonderful employees and tells/shows their appreciation. Remember, happy employees make for happy guest!

Was a relaxing island. Felt the nature all around. We ate at the Pearl restaurant which had great food and a lovely view of the marsh. Our server pointed out the ponies in the distance and brought us binoculars to see them.

It is a very small town.

It is a very small town. There aren’t many restaurants and places to eat. Everything closes very early, so plan accordingly. it’s perfect for a short vacation, one or two days, if you live about 2 hrs away. It is nice if you like riding bikes, fishing, kayaking. We live in Richmond and it is the same distance to OBX. In my opinion, I would go to NC. The beach is nicer and you’ll have more to do. But if you live in northern Va o MD. It is perfect!

The island is a beautiful blend of coastal and country.

The island is a beautiful blend of coastal and country. We took a guided boat tour with Daisy Island Tours and learned all about the island history, the ponies, and fishing. Lots of small businesses to support that treat you like family. Key West Cottages are so clean, unique, and I highly reccomend you stay there. Driving to Assateague National Park is a must. Loved our visit!

The staff is so wonderful and were able to accommodate our large family that traveled in for a wedding. The location is hands-down the best on the island - water views from every room; the dock is a nice perk; picnic tables to eat the hot free breakfast each morning; the pool is open late which is perfect for after spending the entire day walking through town or after a day at the beach. We recommended this hotel to our family and they exceeded everyone’s expectations! We all plan to meet here again in September.

I've stayed at this property several times now as an early-spring break to see Chincoteague Island. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and helpful, much more than I normally expect for a chain motel. Even though I go during the off season, and much of the island is closed up, the hotel always seems just as dedicated to keeping things humming along. And the location literally could not be better - they are the last hotel right before you cross the bridge to the National Park land.

I wasn't excepting much after I checked the Google reviews, but I was positively surprised! The staff was super helpful and nice, the accommodations were simple but comfortable and very clean. For breakfast, you could pick up a brown bag (a great idea for COVID times) and choose between different types of toast, biscuits or bagels, tea, coffee, fruits, and boiled eggs. It is a simple hotel, not a 5-star accommodation, but given that, it was great. I would definitely come back.

We chose the Chincoteague Inn Motel because of its central location in town and ease of travel to the beach and other attractions nearby. Our room was very clean. The facility does not offer free continental breakfast but does have a screen house for picnics outdoors (with purchased food) -- needed due to the very buggy conditions in the summer! The seasonal outdoor pool was a welcome way to cool off after a day of exploring.

It was a good price for all the amenities and a pool for kids. Bathroom and towels and linins were clean. Decor and solid nice furniture were nice like the fancier hotels. The bed was comfy. Nice hot shower at night and sit back on the pillows and watch tv ! Maybe throw clean towel over bolster pillow. Good location for biking all over Chinotequa and Ashtenaqua or whatever it's called Nature Reserve.

I really loved how the manager (Tammy Poole); the owner (Mr. T); and housekeeping made me feel like I was at home. I visited the property from South Carolina and they welcomed me with “Southern Hospitality”. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visitors that’s visiting the island, to stay at the Days Inn Wyndham at Chincoteague Island. I will be revising in the near future. I give them one million Stars.💪🏾❤️😎

We stayed in a beautifully updated room, but overall the staff very incredibly lovely, many thoughtful touches around the place including access to bikes, picnic baskets and the likes for those on holiday, the breakfast was incredible, and the location is perfect for a stay in Chincoteague. Overall we had a lovely time! Love the special touches in the room including guide and history books.

I did not have huge expectations as I had read previous reviews. The positives were that the room was large and very clean. It seems they have been working on doing some updates. The bathroom had a nice vanity and tub and new flooring. Generally, for the price, it was an ok hotel, but I would not choose to stay for an extended time. I was only there 1 night on business.

The view was exceptional -- beautiful part of the country. The Island Resort is our go to place when we go to Chincoteague (once a year) because is quiet and relaxing and has all the amenities we need. It is also very close to all the attractions and restaurants. Very pleased with our stay, as always.

The free breakfast was excellent with many varieties of choices. The breakfast area was very clean with both indoor and outdoor dining. It was one of the best breakfast options available at most hotels. The location of the hotel was superb. Ample parking. Pleasant staff. Clean and spacious room. Quiet.

It was our second visit and we love the view from the balcony. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We didn't try the included breakfast because the hotel is only about 3 blocks from Amarin Coffee, which has the best breakfast pastries and coffee I've ever tasted.

Super affordable compared to the other hotels. My gf and I were looking for something nice but wouldn’t break the bank. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to stay. It was our first time at the island and we had a blast.
