The views were beautiful and the lovely wood burner was easy to use and warmed up the place quite quickly. Very quiet and peaceful area. Ljubljana was at most a 40 minute drive away and quite a direct route. Plenty of towels, bed lining and blankets. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This is a remote site. We were initially surprised by the narrowness of the winding gravel road leading to this site along mountain serpentines. But travelling along the long winding road was worth it: the site is gorgeous and the hosts are very kind.
We stayed in the cottage with a sauna and a beautiful view of the valley. We used our own supplies for a lovely breakfast on a sunny terrace overlooking the valley, but the owners also offer a rich menu in the restaurant located in the main building.

This is the best place we have stayed at for a while. There’s not a lot going on in the area, so it’s quiet and peaceful. The place has incredible views, a nice pool and most importantly, amazing hosts. The whole family is very kind and the food, both breakfasts and dinners were amazing. Great food quality, with locally sourced ingredients, homemade sausages, ham and bread. Also: the family dog and the neighborhood dogs are super cute, friendly and cuddly. We hope to be back!
