Wonderful and spacious, very well appointed, best I’ve stayed in Romania!
Quiet, everything you need, very new and modern, nice host. Excellent location, amenities and price
Offering inner courtyard views, Casa Zia in Făgăraş provides accommodations and barbecue facilities. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.
The citadel is very well preserved. It has a beautiful collection of the historical artéfacts.
Casa Embacher is a very good place for dining. Food is very tasty, served in an artistical way(plates are coming decorated). Any menu choice is exceptional. Portions are big. Location beautiful.
A good place to stay is Sada. Placed in the city center. Beautifully arranged in the inside. Personnel very attentive. Place very comfortable.
Fagarasi is a good place to visit Sâmbaăta de Sus, Drăguș skiing slope, Sibiu or even Sighisoara.

A rather small town with a lot to offer: the castle and the churches, good restaurants and bars, the nearby mountains, including the highest peak in Romania (Moldoveanu: 2543 m). When coming please do not omit: the Sambata de Sus monastery (a landmark for the Romanian Orthodoxy), the Albota fishery and, in Porumbacu de Sus, the stylish troglodyte mud castle. On both ends you'll have, within a 50 miles distance, Brasov and Sibiu respectively.

It's my native town: there are nice spots to see and the citadel is definitely worth visiting. Consider a trip to the Brancoveanu Monastery, located in Sambata de Sus, approx. 13 km towards Sibiu, then turn left for more 7 kms. If you are fond of trekking, the trail running along the Sambata river will take you up in the mountains, to the Sambata Chalet (approx. 5 hours). Beware of the bears! They beg for food but they are not friendly. (This is a general warning for the mountainous regions of Transylvania.)
The apartment is spacious, bright, clean and convenient. The kitchen is well equipped, including dishwasher & washing machine (drying room adjacent). The location of the apartment is very convenient: Close to the castle, market & supermarket close by. The apartment is in the 3rd floor of a block, Fagaras mountains can be seen from the bedroom. Parking in the neighborhood is convenient. The host was easy to access via phone or E-mail.
Location is beautiful. From the outside it is a reqular building but inside you enter in a different world: well designed, high quantity, preserving the history of the location (Fagaras citadel).
It is centrally located so there are beautiful dining places near by, like Casa Embacher.
Also as we stayed several days personnel was very attentive to that and after day one moved us to a more spacious room without being asked.
Beautiful hotel, very clean room and bathroom and comfortable beds. Area is quiet and rooms are secured with your own personal code. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is good with free public parking spaces in-front of the hotel. The bistro cafe in-front of the hotel is offering a la cart breakfast, that opens at 09:00. Hotel offerd earlier option breakfast on request.
The apartment is amazing. Everything looks better than the pictures. The same comfort of beds I’ve seen in 4 and 5 stars hotels. The complimentary coffee is sooo delicious and the drinks available in the fridge have extremely good prices. The location is near everything and the quiet neighborhood is a delight.
Very good location close to the city center of Fagaras, on a quiet street and near traditional villages. Very clean, the private bathroom was spotless. The bed was very confortable and spatious. The price was good and the cancelation policy was very flexible, which is good to have in these strange times.
The owner is an amazing host - she helped us with all kind of advices and with anything we needed. What amazed me is that the house was very well equipped, really clean and very comfortable.
It is situated very close to the heart of Făgăraș and from there you can go visit many amazing locations.
Everything was great, the location is literally in the center of Fagaras! The apartment was really clean and cosy with everything you need for the stay! And surprisingly very quiet and intimate! Teo is a wonderful host and gave all the tips we needed for a pleasant experience in Fagaras!
The room is basic, but it is clean, safe and silent and has a good bed, so everything you need for a good sleep. Good standard for a low price. It's a 20 minutes walk from the Fagaras railway station.
this hotel does not exist. booking took our money of credit card. hotel was closed, nobody was on the phone,we called 7x. we had to find a new hotel and pay again. terrible.
Great location in the heart of Fagaras, close to the citadel, restaurants, cafes and bars; Spotless clean and very kind and helpful staff; Delicious breakfast
A beautifull scenery from the yard and terrace, with Fagaras mountains, very quiet, the possibility to buy very good local food, bread, milk and sweets
