Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. Already in the first minutes, I was convinced that we had chosen a wonderful place. It started to get dark and I had the feeling that we were in a fairy tale place. I was convinced that fairies and goblins would meet in a moment in the next meadow. The staff treated us fantastically. The food was very tasty. We travel with a small dog and he also felt good there. He found many friends there. Thank you for a nice experience, we will definitely come back for a longer stay.
