Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

Very nice town, nice people.
Very nice town, nice people.
We managed to visit the monastery and in the evening there was a national event so it was very nice.
I think that within the limits of our time we covered the main thing.
I think it was possible to have more fun in the town.

The princely court ruins and St Nicholas church are not to be missed. The centre is great for walking around and the market is a great place to grab a snack. We liked the Municipal museum too. We also enjoyed the Romanian food at La Costica where the locals gather. Curtea de Arges was a great surprise!

We arrived at the hotel after a hard day's journey by car. Already in the first minutes, I was convinced that we had chosen a wonderful place. It started to get dark and I had the feeling that we were in a fairy tale place. I was convinced that fairies and goblins would meet in a moment in the next meadow.
The staff treated us fantastically. The food was very tasty. We travel with a small dog and he also felt good there. He found many friends there.
Thank you for a nice experience, we will definitely come back for a longer stay.
The hotel looks amazing, really feels like you're entering a fairytale. Super modern, clean and pleasant room. Nice big bathroom. There is a lounge area in the garden. The rooms are naturally cool and dark so had a great rest here. The staff is truly wonderful. They were super friendly and helpful, they ordered food for us in the evening and made some coffee for us in the morning. Really could not recommend this place more highly.
Beautiful old, traditional cottages in a great location in Curtea de Arges, a walkable distance from the town center and the historic monastery. Rustic furnishings and comfortable amenities. The owners are wonderful and helped us with everything — they even let us borrow a power adapter to charge our phones since we’d lost ours. If you’re passing through Curtea de Arges, this is the place to stay.
The apartment is exceptionally clean, very good quality materials, beautiful design. It had everything we needed - including slippers. The host even left some complimentary bottled water for us. Heating and warm water instantly. The host was available at any time. Very responsive and polite. It will be, definitely, our accomodation for everytime we go to Curtea de Arges.
Spacious room and bathroom. Private parking in the courtyard. Clean. Busy road nearby is not really problematic at night with the windows closed. Easy walking distance to a Kaufland supermarket. The monastery that's the main attraction is within 20 minutes or so walking distance. Free cappuccino in the café of the hotel.
Located in the city center. Nearby there are a few restaurants and places to hang out.
The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves amazing food. The staff is very nice. We've visited many places across the country, and this is in our opinion a top 5 restaurant located in a small city.

- The most amazing part of the hotel is without doubt the spa.
- We used the hot tub and also got massages at the property which was very decently priced.
- Room servcie was a definite plus.
- the food especially the vegetable rice was really good.
Very nice and new property, awesome views to the town, 10-15 min walking to the Curtea de Arges church and 5 more to the center. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
The host was very complaisant and nice. Hotel rooms are new and clean. Also we have a tasteful diner and at the end a cake.
Happy birthday Rado 🎂(Justinian).
The room and especially the bathroom were spacious, very clean and beautifully decorated. The neighbourhood was quiet, close to the Curtea de Arges Monastery.
