The staff was absolutely wonderful, the rooms and bathrooms are super clean, in our room we had a bed and a sofa. I believe every room has a balcony, which was also a big plus. They also have parking and a restaurant open all day. We'll definitely return!

Great place in the mountains. Amazing view and very nice facilities. From the room to the garden everything was amazing. We also loved the fresh cow milk and the homemade jam in the morning. Perfect for a weekend in the mountains or a stopover before or after Transalpina.

It's extraordinary to meet such honest hospitality today. After our arrival, we were surprised by little sampling. Hi. I couldn't say if Baia de Fier is the best for shopping or food as it's a secluded mountain village. The only bonus I found is it's close to the southern starting point of Transalpina (Novaci) and the accommodation was fairly affordable.
