Quiet place by a river and very friendly and helpful staff. Property owner a very trusting person. Everything at one’s disposal! A more traditionally Romanian country guesthouse as expected.

everything was great! Cozy house and amazing yard!
From a nature perspective, absolutely stunning. This area contains the southern part of the Transfagarasan mountain pass and there is a lot to see and do here. The scenery is spectacular - it also takes a long time to drive, so make sure that you have enough time. Try and avoid night time driving for animals (bears and dogs), but also for the fact that the road is extremely winding and tiring to drive.
You will certainly see bears - the southern part of the road (Highway #7C) is a bear conservation area along Lake Vidraru.
Stayed at the loft (2 bedroom) which was located at the top of the cabin, super clean and comfortable with wonderful views of the lake. Perfect location to spend the night if doing the Transfagarasan in two days, we were coming from the South. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly out of this world, grilled meat to perfection and maybe one of the best papanasi I had in Romania. Cabin staff were super nice, and made the best to accommodate us.
Came with friends for a couple of days. We got to the hotel at night! We were met personally by the owner, he helped to park our cars. Then they prepared sandwiches for us, although the kitchen was no longer working! Clean room, delicious food, friendly staff! It felt like we were at home! Definitely recommend to everyone who visits Transfagarashan!
Amazing place in the forest on the Transfagarasan highway (7c). You realize where you are when you see the 3 dogs that they have to make bears stay away from the hotel!!!! The room was very big, very good matress also. A very polite girl was on the hotel's cafe/bar on the main road
The service was great. Very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels but the staff were more helpful and welcoming than anywhere previously. We arrived late and they still cooked us dinner and service with a smile.
A fantastic hotel and location. The hotel offered a well-rounded experience with a beautiful location, great food and wonderful atmosphere. The area is very quiet and the hotel very easy to find. The on-site parking was great and the staff very helpful.
Great location and the whole area is well worth discovering. The hotel seems to be quite new, but the rooms are good and the staff are friendly. We unfortunately didn't get a baby cot.
