We only spent one night here during our journey along the Rota Vicentina. The location is very convenient for those hiking this trail. Although you walk a bit out of town, you save some distance the next day. The accommodation is in a rustic style, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The large common area with a kitchen is well-equipped. Communication with the owner went smoothly; he is very helpful and friendly.

I really enjoyed my stay on this lovely farm just out of Vila do Bispo. The room was large and modern with a huge comfy bed with crisp linen. Everything was spotlessly clean. There is a huge balcony with ocean views & a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. It’s right on the Rota Vincenta except the Fishernans Trail which I was hiking, you need to walk to Vila do Bispo which is a pleasant & flat 3.2 km walk. Great value for money. The hosts are lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Small town in an ideal location to explore the beaches and coastline of western algarve. Not too overrun by tourists like places like Sagres, still feels like a charming Portugese small town. Has large supermarkets too and a market for convenience. Could do with a few more restaurants and cafes though as there isn't much choice for eating out - there are a few good fish restaurants and a nice Pizza place but not much else.

Vila Do Bispo is a nice place to stay for a few days and a great base for touring the local beaches. The only downside to our stay was that it was very quiet during the day and evenings when we went with very few restaurants or bars to grab a quick drink. The breakfast was excellent but the host was the most amazing woman. She let me check in quite early when I was sick from a gluten-poisoning and made sure there was gluten-free bread waiting for me in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel.
