The house was beautiful and recently renovated with a very modern style. You can tell that the hosts took care of every detail, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We absolutely loved the little patio in front of the house, such a beautiful and natural place full of home grown goodness such as apple trees, strawberries, aromatic herbs, plum trees, flowers... could go on forever. The property is beautiful, stylish and comfortable. The view from the room is divine. The breakfast is varied and delicious and the staff are very friendly and approachable.
We had dinner at the Sirga restaurant which is fabulous. We also had a wine tasting with Ricardo which was great fun and we sampled some fabulous wines. Ricardo is very knowledgeable and passionate about the region’s wines.
We would highly recommend Dourwin Riverside Suites. We had two nights and would have liked to have stayed much longer!
