The location was perfect. We were able to navigate almost everything we wanted to see by foot. The nightly walks across the bridges were wonderful. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The best part of staying at Hotel Carris Porto Ribeira is the staff. They arranged a great tour for us, and made wonderful suggestions for dinning and site seeing. We felt very well taken care of. I would stay here again.

Comfortable bed, enough extra pillows, easy to find though we were driving in a foreign country. It was also clean and quiet. We did not use the TV. Public transportation was handy and we left our car in their parking lot the two days we were there. A 10€ breakfast was available but we chose to eat elsewhere, so cannot give advice on that one way or the other.
