Location is excellent to discover the Douro valley by car. Gorgeous views, and very comfortable room. Staff is lovely and very accomodating. We were contacted before arrival to ask whether we wanted dinner (3 courses with lots of options to choose from), which was very convenient after a long day of travelling. The wines from the estate are really good as well.

Nice bed linen felt good, the only hotel where the duvet was properly "hidden". Fresh shower curtain. Classy restaurant with table cloth (changed after each meal), nice music and fantastic food.
