The hotel pool was stunning and the roof top pool bar had amazing views. The staff were so nice and there are different activities each day if you want to keep active.
We went on a paddle surf which was run by Ana and Florencia, it was fab and the girls made it fun. This was my first time on a paddle board

A little gem to relax after being in Lagos which was very crowded. Everything you need for a stopover, next time we will book a bungalow for extra space. You can use the wi fi by going to the pool. A lovely area full of bars and restaurants, ideal location for several days, next time we will stay longer.

Lovely walks and nice restaurants to choose, from snacks to main meals. The Courtyard serves amazing food for a nice evening meal. There is a new Gastro Pub on the front which is very reasonably priced with good food and happy hour 18:00-20:00 with cocktails etc if you like a drink. You can visit Cabanas beach or Tavira Island both are excellent. Cabanas is kept very clean by local workers and there is a good choice of accommodation to fit most budgets. I would recommend this place to visit.

WE love this place ! East coast so different to the West. Cabanas, Fuseta & Santa Luzia are real bits of older Algarve & we love them.
Cabanas especially, its promenade [walkway] is great with its bars, shops, cafe's & restaurants set behind it & the view with its boats & the ferry to the great beach, Behind is a maze of little old streets with more cafe's & restaurants. Great !

It is a charming small town with a promenade along the lagoon and a boardwalk and a number of good restaurants. Evening walks along the boardwalk were always interesting with the fishing boats in the small harbour and there were a number of bars with views over the lagoon , perfect fo sun-downers.

Escaping dark November in the UK is always a treat.
Escaping dark November in the UK is always a treat. Cabanas was the perfect place to enjoy a gentle couple of weeks in lovely sunshine. Either strolling along the boardwalk to one of the local cafes for a coffee and Pastel de nata or walking over the Ria Formosa to Tavira past the salt flats you will have a wonderful time.
A lot of the restaurants are closed as the season has ended but O Coral was open and offers delicious food for lunch and dinner - highly recommended.

I like the ambience, the serenity the rooms were very decent and the staff were helpful. Food and drinks were great. Although I would recommend more intercontinental dishes. It was a lovely experience I would surely like to visit again.

We had stayed in a host of larger hotels across the Algarve, and chose Casa Viana, because we knew that it would be completely different, small, homey, sincere, with extremely warm owner and her brother. A real Portuguese Guesthouse. Each morning lovely breakfasts were offered. In the last century, the current owner's grandfather had used it as a factory for processing Octopuses. Boats to the island are just outside the door, and there are countless restaurants and bars just down the street.
Stayed for 1 month Jan Feb the apartment is great for long stays all you could need.
Bedding towels changed weekly
Spar shop near but larger supermarkets in Tavira.
The complex is great with indoor pool for rainy days ( only about 4 during our month stay
Train at Conceicou 15 min walk or bus just outside golden club
Beachs so clean with a free ferry from golden club to main beach - very charming
Loads of good restaurants
This place really needs to be kept a secret
I loved the facilities, three swimming pools, beach volleyball court, basket and bars. The location is near the beach by a free boat for guests and a temp minute walk through the sand diunes. The staff was helpful and there is SPAR supermarket at a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Comfy beds, reasonable quiet rooms. Excellent Wi-Fi in the rooms a plus.
Both pool areas were lovely and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good selection of food and seating areas in the restaurant. Arrived on late flight and the staff kindly provided us with food in the room on arrival. Kind birthday gesture left in our room too, without being asked! Very modern hotel - would definitely return.
Excellent location. 3 pools in the Golden Club, Basketball court volley ball gym.
Cabanas is a great village and the resort is right on the seafront with a private boat service to the island beach. Michele had give us a list of the best bars and restaurants and she got it spot on
We will definitely be back again this year
Beautiful place with amazing views. Delicious dinner, refreshing pool, very nice staff. Hard to get to, as the roads are very narrow and location is on the top of the mountain, making it difficult to do wine tasting at the Douro Valley and drive back to the hotel. Mostly stayed I
Nice building, if a bit tricky to find at first. We loved the little balcony. Great location, surrounded by lovely traditional houses and just a few steps to the sea. We didn't do Cabanas de Tavira justice as this was such a short stay.
great communication. very quiet. apartment well equiped and spotless clean. nice resort town. easy train rides to nearby towns. short ferry to beach where it was possible to walk forever.
Beautiful view from the terrace. You can use the facilities from Golden Club eg pools, including the boats to the beach. Apartment is good for 2 persons would not recommend it for more.
Great location, nice perk with the train and boat service to the beach. Liked that bar, restaurant, supermarket, pool etc were right there. Full kitchen was great too.
Loved all the wildlife on the doorstep and proximity to beach and restaurants. We are a family of six with four young children and it was a lovely relaxing break
