Lovely small hotel in the middle of Beja, a location which made getting about easy. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice with foods typical to the region. Very, very friendly people (in fact, some of whom are the owners themselves) and all are really helpful. We would stay again without a doubt.

Beja is a wonderful city with the modern juxtaposed with the very old. It is nice to walk the old curving narrow streets of the old part of the city. The people make it great as they are open, warm and gracious. Many people speak English.

I strongly advice going to "Adega 25 Abril" restaurant, very nice staff and good food at suitable prices.
Do not go to "Taberna a Pipa". Awfull service, did not attend us at all, regardless of the small children within our group. They had an available table that was suposed to be for us, but did not prepar it or allow us to seat and order something for the children. We ended going to other restaurant.
This is a charming traditional guest house, run by a charming Beja family. Our room looked out on to a quiet street, which led us to all the nearby sights and amenities, and we had the most fantastic bathroom - huge and sparkling new. There is a wonderful small shaded courtyard, with 100 year old orange and lemon trees.
Beja is a lovely city, not too touristy, and we wished we had arranged to stay longer - and we'd have been very happy to stay longer at Hospedaria Santa Maria.
The house is located right in the center of Beja, in a small and charming street. It is even more nicer and charming in reality than on the pictures. The courtyard has more furnitures and is a beautiful area to chill after a long day. There cakes at disposal in the living room. You feel like at home. The breakfast is purely amazing (don't eat too much for dinner!).
Beautiful old house converted into a boutique hotel with a few beautiful modern rooms with mini kitchen in the room and a clean modern bathroom. Host was lovely and checked us in a bit late, showed us around and gave a great food recommendation. Outdoor area is super nice and the pool was great. We will definitely come back again.
The hotel was in a great location, is quiet, and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion would be to add a night light to the room as it gets dark at night and the steps to the wc get in the way. Also, since the room had 3 single beds, it would be good to add a second chair to the room. Otherwise the hotel was great.
The entire apartment is wonderful. It is located at the heart of Beja, immersed in the historic town. You can walk around the old town to see the main sights. The apartment is big enough to host a family of three, very comfortable and lovely furniture mixing new and old styles.
Great place to stay and explore the city of Beja. You're in the centre and have easy access to all museums and things to see and do. The owner is very kind and accomodating and the place itself is already a little museum! I would certainly recommend it to others.
Centrally located, this family owned hotel, pulls out all the stops to be helpful on every step of your stay. They simply could not be more helpful.
Great breakfast!!!
Wonderful! Very pleasant welcome; beautifully designed hotel, very peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was a dream of mostly home- grown and home-made products! Top!
