It was a clean, convenient place to stay before our visit to Machu Picchu. Checkin was easy, staff were friendly and they kept our bags for us while we went to Machu Picchu. It is as Leo very close to the hot springs.

This hotel is worth the high price. If you are doing a trek or a big hike like we did, it will be worth it to spend your evening in a nice place like this. The bed and shower are amazing and super comfortable. This hotel is right by the river, and not really in the "hustle and bustle" of Aguas Calientes. Trust me, you will appreciate the quiet even if you think you want to be in the middle of the party. We almost booked El Mapi instead of this one and we are so glad we didn't go with El Mapi because it's right in the middle of all the busiest bars in AC. Go with this one!! The breakfast is vast and excellent as well.

Very helpful in solving our problems with another company. Bridget and her coworkers went out of their way to make sure we had our tickets correct for our tours even though the tours weren't booked through Mapiland Hotel. If it wasn't for Mapiland Hotel we might have come all this way from the US and not get to go to Machu Picchu. Mapiland was clean, close to everything, had a great breakfast and a great view along the river. Also meet us at the train station, let us leave bags all day and extended our checkout time for a shower after Machu Picchu, since we walked down instead of taking a shuttle.

The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was nice, and we were offered scrambled eggs. I have to say their bed sheets were the cleanest among the family hotels I have stayed in.

The staff was exceptional. Marie and Perci were extremely helpful and accommodating. The room was simple but fulfilled everything essential: comfy beds, hot water and nice bathroom.
Also the breakfast was amazing which started at 4:30 and was essentially buffet style with make to order eggs.
