The hotel is lovely, comfortable, clean, fresh and quirky. Love the fact the 2 restaurants have a completely different vibe. Staff were very helpful and the availability of a secure bike store was a definite bonus. The restaurant has a good choice and the food was well prepared.
It's not in the poshest part of the town but very quiet, close to the interesting old town and the cycle routes north and south. Don't be put off by the location. It's a gem of a place.

It was a pleasure to stay at Landgoed Duin & Kruidberg. This is a stunning building with a fascinating history.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were outstanding and very informative about the history of the building and also the local amenities.
The hotel menu wasn’t to our taste so we walked down to a little pub/bar operation which is just a pleasant 10 minutes stroll away. It’s called Brasserie Hoeve Duin en Kruidberg and could be a good alternative for an evening meal.
There is a little train station a short walk away which takes you to Haarlem within 10 minutes costing about £5 return.
All in all, a very pleasant place to stay.

A very central and nice hotel in Haarlem where you can go to any place in a matter of minutes. The staff is very friendly and the rooms spacious. I was there only for 1 night and mainly busy in the city but the hotel was always very close by!
