Monterrey is a wonderful city, a bit hot sometimes but worth visiting. It has loads of amenities and places to go, and hosts the best private university in Latin America, Tecnológico de Monterrey. It is worth visiting town centre, Parque Fundidora, and eat "cabrito" in the various restaurants available.

Monterrey is a beautiful city with lots of things to see and do in and around the city. The Macroplaza is the cultural center of the city and there are many restaurants, museums, shops, and locals walking around the area. The Antigua area is across from the Macroplaza and there is the old part of the city with the Monterrey Cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants as well. On Saturday and Sunday the Antigua area has a few very good local flea markets. Also, Monterrey has a great subway system called the Metrorrey and its really easy to use and a very cheap way to get around this great city! I highly recommend Monterrey for any tourists who want to get some great Mexican food and culture that is only a 45 minute flight from Houston and a 3hour bus ride from the border. VIVA MONTERREY!

Monterrey is a very large industrial city with horrible traffic. Pollution is bad, and its not really a nice place to walk around. Check in was quick and she even moved us to a room with more spacious bathroom, for my elderly parents. Bell boy that took our luggage to room was very pleasant and professional. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues that were resolved immediately by Geovanna. The Hotel is in the Heart of Zona Rosa in Downtown Monterrey. Walking distance to many restaurants, retail stores, bars, and even the famous Macro Plaza.
