This was by far the most convenient stay during our trip in Montenegro. We were welkomed by the Son of the host family. Hé showed us the very big appartement. Everything was there for a convenient stay: two bedrooms, a fully equiped kitchen with a lot of appliences (toaster, dishwasher, oven),a well equiped bathroom with washingmachine and all the extra’s (bodywash, washing detergent).
Even a very warm welcome with Some drinks in the fridge and cookies on the table. On the second day the lady even brought us fresh baked puffs.
We felt guilty for breaking the gardenchair which we offered to pay. Such a lovely family. Really reccommend this accommodation!
View is amazing!

We really enjoyed 2 nights at Suri. It is a very calm place and we slept excellent. The view and sunrise are spectacular. Milos, Jelena and Ninko (the translating son) took good care of us. We got dinner and breakfast. We stayed in the large house. Great shower and they even put a washing basin that some earlier reviews were asking for. Hammocks are inviting for relaxing. If you book this place, you must know that it’s 45min away from Pluzine, even though it looks closer on the map. Road is good, very narrow. Street is missing on GoogleMaps, use MapsMe for Navigation. We did a challenging and rewarding hike to the mountain lakes in western direction. You can also explore the immediate area.
Piva lake is set in Pluzine, 43 km from Viewpoint Tara Canyon, and a garden and a bar are accessible in-house. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

This is a very quirky place. It looks as if it is someone's holiday home, being rented out from time to time. For that reason it is very well equipped with kitchenware, winter blankets etc. It also has some museum relics such as an old pentium desktop computer and VHS cassettes.
It is quite spacious, with enough beds for a family of 4 without using the living room.
We were provided with bathroom products such as laundry detergent and shampoo.
The staff were very friendly, although they did not speak English (we communicated via online translator). The owner even gave us a very generous and tasty breakfast on our first morning.

definitely our two days were not enough, at least four are necessary. Everything is near but it takes a long time to get anywhere via narrow and curvy roads, with many view points where you simply must stop.
There are two rivers, Piva and Tara, and nice mountains Durmitor for hiking

Pluzine is not so popular spot for the tourist so far. So it is not crowded by tourist. But for the nature lover it is a perfect place to be at Pluzine. Nature at it's best here. Amazing view of Piva lake which is surrounded by the high mountain makes Pluzine very scenic. It is worth a boat ride in the lake. The road conditions to reach Pluzine is very good. There are few good restaurants.

The town itself is absolutely nothing special, not much to see, though they are building some new road and something that probably will become a place for a walk. Everything here is about the lake and activities related. We went there for a SUP tour, and it was perfect. There are also few good restaurants in the town, all serving fresh fish from the lake and local meat.

The lake is beautiful, but for swimming your only options...
The lake is beautiful, but for swimming your only options are the gravel beach in the town (mostly warm, stagnant water, and full of local kids) or taking a kayak or boat tour out onto the lake. By kayak or boat you can reach a swimming platform where you can swim among fish out in the lake.
Boat trips, however, are overpriced at 30 euros for 1 hour and 50 euros for 2 hours. The 2-hour trip takes you to a cave where you can hear hundreds of bats chirping above you. Unfortunately the boat captains don't speak English, so it's hard to get information about what you're seeing on the tour. You don't get more than about 30 mins for swimming. Perhaps it would be possible with the help of the tourist info center to arrange for a boat to drop you at the swimming platform and come back for you in a few hours, and if I went back that's what I would do.
As for other activities in the area, hiking and cycling seem to be the main ones. There are a couple of daily buses to the monastery nearby, but I didn't know this until I saw a sign for them on my way out of town.
Bus travel to and from Pluzine is relatively easy. Thru buses stop right at the entrance to the town, across from the tourist info center. Buses originating in Pluzine start from the green shelter adjacent to the tourist info center. Bus times are unreliable but I've found the ones listed on Balkanviator as purchaseable online to be accurate.
Overall, unless you're planning to use Pluzine as a base for exploring the area or cycling/hiking, it doesn't really merit an entire day. A quick boat tour, maybe a visit to the monastery a few km away, and you can be on your way to your next destination.
