Well, it was awesome. Although I travel a lot, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about Marakesh and all that. However, this place is so awesome and detailed that it was the best part of the stay in Marakesh. First of all, it looks so retro and it is how you imagine the old Marakesh Housing, but of course, everything is new here. They paid attention to all kinds of details, like mud walls, bricks, wooden ceilings, and gardens. So, yeah, 10 for details. Also, it is clean as hell. I think that room was cleaned thoroughly at least once or twice a day. Staff is a special story, they are so helpful and kind, almost that much that you are uncomfortable asking for something :). Breakfast is great, food is great. There is a restaurant on the premises, with amazing bread. They are making it right there, some cornbread, whoah...loved it. So, yeah, the place is a little bit pricey for Marakesh, but it is well worth it if you want an effortless and relaxed vacation. There is a great spa there, great masseuses, all that you need to forget about your daily job. But if you simply can't, like I do, there is great wifi, which you should cherish in Marakesh.

Was quiet as there after the UK school May holidays. Hotel took note of our request for quiet room away from evening entertainment.
We didn’t use it, but if you are into water parks, it would be great. Likewise, daytime pool entertainment is lively — if that’s your thing.

A perfect haven of tranquility. Wonderful grounds and a small pool, the perfect place to relax after a week driving to Merzouga and back. Also, a perfect place to stay outside the city. The room we had was big with a very comfortable bed and great shower and bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.

We loved everything about the concept of this quiet, tranquil spa Kasbah. The rooms were all beautifully decorated and facing the Atlas Mountains. It may be a little far out of the main town for some people but with the hustle and bustle just a taxi ride away it worked perfect.
The Mendili will happily organise trips to the markets, tours of the local area ,Atlas Mountains, and any Taxis you may need. A little oasis in a desert. We spent New Year in the Mendili and our hosts Catherine and Alain entertained with a wonderful meal, music and dancing catering for all the nationalities staying in the Kasbah. Just to mention that menus are set and therefore no choice. However, the food they serve is traditional, made fresh daily and the taste is magnificent, so no choice required.

This palace is like a retreat from the life/work/rhythms you leave behind you! We spent 6/7 of the days at the riad, 24/7 and did not want for anything. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and relax it’s perfect. The staff were so helpful and hard working, the food home cooked and made to order, the rooms are spacious and in early summer there are baby animals roaming the grounds like a mini national park! There were baby chicks, swallows, kittens, peacocks and their parents! And some frogs to keep you on your toes in the evenings! We LOVED it! Great to meet Moroccan families taking a few day break, and people from all over the world come and went. It’s not at all ‘fancy’ but you have everything you need on hand and it has such a homely atmosphere you can make the place your own! Take a book and some cards and someone you can chill with and enjoy!!! Special shout out to abdulelleh who is soooo generous, friendly and hard working!
