I will cut to the chase - I travel with my job a lot and this is the best service I have ever experienced in any hotel, anywhere. It is the kind of personalised, wonderful service that a lot of places claim to provide, but when you compare it to the St Regis Astana you realise that they're not really living up to their claims.
Firstly, the hotel is lovely, grand, clean and comfortable. My room was spacious, well-presented and finished to a high level. The facilities (such as the gym and spa) are probably above what you would reasonably expect from a hotel. The selection of restaurants and bars for a hotel of this size was very good, and all the food I had there was great.
But the thing that makes this place stand out, and the reason that I will recommend that anyone come to stay, is that everyone working there seems to have got the memo - they are so kind, welcoming and personal with you that I almost couldn't believe that was going on for the first day of my stay. A lot of staff remember your name, they don't seem like they are chatting to you out of professional obligation (even if they are, it doesn't come across like that), and they seem genuinely ready to help with anything to ensure your stay is good.
One example that sticks with me: I remember one of the servers at breakfast, Sabina, talking me through some of the local offerings - I had already had as much breakfast as I could that morning and was in a rush to head out, so I told her that I would try it the next day and thanked her. Sabina wasn't working the next day, but when I got to breakfast it was clear that had briefed her colleagues that I would be interested in some local breakfast items and they were ready to help me out. They knew my name and what I was interested in trying. It was remarkable.
If I come back to Astana there will be no competition as to which hotel I stay in. Thank you all.

First, in the middle of nowhere but there are bus stops close by, including #10 from airport. You need to have a transport card, what it is sold nowhere, but pay money to somebody in the bus. Controls understand your situation too.
There is breakfast available and it is actually quite ok and cheep. Considered everything, I would recommend, if your expectations are not too high.

The best breakfast since coming to Central Asia - such delicious choices, all freshly prepared. The location is excellent, next to the river and just short walk to buses to get around the city, and to great places to eat. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and a fridge. Good shower pressure with plenty of hot water (the tap needs to run for a while to get hot).

The city is artificial and has no soul. Some interesting stuff though in the national museum. Some good restaurants near the Khan Shatyr with tasty georgian food. Less people speak English than in Almaty.

Amazing contemporary architecture all around the precinct, easy to walk to, probably would have looked even more beautiful showing green lawns, I was there when much covered in snow. Not tourist orientated re maps, managed by shear walking and working out mysel where things were to find the amazing national museum of the republic which is an absolute must see!!!!! Well worth the long haul from Australia to see this country! People are nice, cab drivers ok, lots of eateries, coffee shops etc, flew to Almaty also and dashed to Uzbekistan to visit Samarqand as well

Very hospitable city. Many cultural attractions.
Very hospitable city. Many cultural attractions. We'd like to come back in the summer when the weather is nice (our trip was in November, and it was too windy and chilly). We could not enjoy walks in the multiple parks.

Great sightseeing shopping restaurants and kids attractions.
Great sightseeing shopping restaurants and kids attractions. No real history apart from the museums as its a newly constructed city. Horrendous traffic and a great construction project with the overland metro when completed will surely be a game changer for the place and if development Continues it could easily be a rival to Dubai as a world class attraction. Please to do for people of all ages and loads of natural beauty just a short drive away.
Sauna culture is a wonderful experience for those people who haven't had the experience.
Nightclubs for those that way Inclined will not be dissapointed.
Overall an awesome destination for young families, those of a more mature disposition and stag/hen parties for the more adventurous. Imo a highly regarded destination for all as long as you are prepared for different standards to what you may be used to..... some lower (table service) and the majority as good as if not better than what you may be used to especially considering the cost factor

Variety of meat dishes is amazing in the city.
Variety of meat dishes is amazing in the city. There are plenty of various restaurants including local ones. If you eat meat, I would strongly recommend you Kazakh cuisine.
Be aware that the air in the city is polluted by gas. There are no public transportation besides buses and taxis. Therefore, traffic jams are normal. However, taxis are affordable. Pedestrian ways are not very well thought trough. Buildings in the city center are huge, blocks are enormous. City definitely has both Chinese and Post-Soviet vibes.
The coolest place I visited was Expo museum, really cool. The whole area around Expo is interesting to visit as a landmark of 2010-s architecture.

There are not much things to see, but what's available is of high quality. Nur-Alem alone is a good reason to visit. City center is a nice place to walk with parks, fountains and some beautiful architecture around. Also a lot of restaurants with different and not expensive cuisine and shopping malls are there.
The biggest issue is a transport. Taxi is cheap and easily available, but during the day there are a lot of traffic on the roads. Public transport (buses) is hardly accessible to tourists: I asked peoples, searched online, but couldn't figure out how to pay.
We loved this apartment and ending up booking a second time a few weeks later.
The location is fantastic, nearby main attractions and plazas. There are 2 grocery stores and a cafe downstairs.
Apartment was clean and was well furnished. No problem cooking meals and doing laundry. Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. Perhaps one of the most comfortable beds in Kazakhstan.
Aircon was cold. Wifi internet was very fast and stable, over 60Mbps. I was able to do video conferences for work with no problem.
Concierge service from Aruzhan was at the same level of the Ritz Carlton which I also stayed at in Astana. I would come back again because Aruzhan was highly attentive, respectful, and trustworthy. The hotel thank you card was a professional touch just like the Ritz, was much appreciated. The facial services were outstanding, which use medical grade instruments. The leg and shoulder massage was very affordable and enjoyable. The food was very delicious and open all night on the first floor which made things easy.
Location is amazing. It’s 2 minute walk from Bayterek tower which is the most relevant monument in all Astana. The apartment is in the 22nd floor it has an amazing view from the room, and it’s well equipped with bathroom, washing machine and kitchen. The other guests were also nice and respectful. The owner is an amazing guy. He can speak English very well and Spanish. We both chatted in both languages and he took me to lunch and even offered me a ride to the airport. Thank you very much for all the hospitality
Our stay was amazing - the hotel is very new, lobby and restaurant have very high quality food which was reasonably priced. Most importantly it was staff that made the difference - they were very polite and helpful, very professional. I was leaving earlier than my mother who is a senior and they helped her to check out and call a cab. Breakfast is also great. I was in different Sheraton hotels around the world and this hotel was the best! I will be definitely coming back!
Very clean modern apartment not far from Astana international airport. Very close to Silk Way shopping mall (the biggest one in Astana).
The building is very new, the rooms look like they have just been renovated. Access to the room is keyless (you need to use a special code for the smart lock), there is a videophone.
You can entrance to this room any time (even in 3-4 AM).
Perfect location for people who stay in Astana for a few days and use airport.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The luxurious accommodations, coupled with exceptional service, made my stay truly memorable. The hotel’s prime location made exploring the city a breeze, and I can’t wait to return to [HotelName] on my next visit. Highly recommended!
staff where a highlight, even though not all of them speak English, they went out of their way to help me (speaking though google translation) the location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Astana you are right in the heart of the city. bed comfy and room very big.
i love the decor of the hotel it has a very soviet feel to its hard to describe but when you see it you would understand.
It was pretty standard as hotel goes, but the room facilities were good, comfortable, and functioned well. The two very commendable points were the helpfulness of the staff and the location of the hotel. Not a very long walk to get to Keruen City Mall and to the older part of Astana. Bed was comfortable for us, safe was provided, and housekeeping was punctual.
This is probably the oldest hotel in Nur-Sultan, yet it has been very recently renovated, so furniture and bathroom equipment are all brand new. The hotel is located in an old part of the city in a walking distance to embankment and parks near the river
Had to stay one night in Astana before catching a connecting flight. Hotel is very easy reached from the airport (best to take a taxi for the equivalent of 2 to 4€). Facilities are clean and in good condition.
Nice small hotel tucked across from a large park. Near malls and other amenities in the city. Luxurious bathroom, and very high ceilings, lots of space in the rooms.
