The location was excellent, right in the town plaza. Within walking distance of everything really as this is such a small sleepy town, but it does have a great outlet shopping are, also within walking distance. Very friendly people. The host, Marie Teresa, was so helpful, even before we arrived, she sent me lots of details, including places to eat, which was such a great help and we did eat at one of her recommended restaurants, Bisteccheria Rebechi, and it was wonderful. Our room was small but comfortable.

The house offered a peaceful and serene setting about 10-12 minutes drive from Levanto. Surrounded by trees it was very calming. It was immaculately clean and we had a large comfortable room rustically furnished but with modern bathroom. Susan was always around to offer advice on the best places to visit, where to eat etc. and she also helped with reservations on our boat trip for visiting the Cinque Terre.
