We were upgraded to beach rooms which are located directly at the beach. The breakfast (only Italian breakfast; no buffet!) we took at the beach bar which was great. There are numerous restaurants close by so you do not need to take dinner at the hotel restaurant.

It is a beautiful little town with lovely views of the sea.
You can see Stromboli island and the sunsets are out of this world.
The colors of the sea are spectacular
The only problem is to a access the beach you have a long steep walk. It is paved the whole way down.
We used to enjoy sitting in the piazza eating our gelato and felt at home with the locals

We liked the quietness of the area when we wanted and then only 9 mins by car to Tropea for nightlife if we felt like it:)
We eat dinner poolside at hotel and also in Tropea. Getting around Santa Domenica is really easy, by car, taxi or shuttle bus service.

There were 4 of us, we rented a vehicle and found it very easy to get around. We stayed at the beautiful Borgo di Santa Barbara, in Santa Domenica. We arranged a cooking class where they picked us up in front of the hotel. We arrived at the Agriturismo within 15 minutes.
The apartment building lies in a quiet part of Santa Domenica just a couple of minutes far from Tropea. It is close to a train station and beautiful beaches.
The room we stayed in was quite spaceous, new and clean. During our stay, it got cleaned everyday.
The owner/manager Francesco was very attentive and nice. He was able to provide some tips about local beaches, restaurants, etc. He was even able to provide a beach umbrella which we could borrow for a day.
We enjoyed our stay there very much.
A highlight of our holidays in Italy. Wonderful setting, great views, lovely surroundings, helpful staff. The hotel is somewhat remote and you need a car or taxi to get around the area, but it has everything you need to make it a great stay. The food is great, the pool is wonderful, the sea is just amazing with plenty of fish. You have to walk downhill to the beach (with a really good beach bar), but you can also get a lift easily. Truly recommended.
the host communicates great in English - which makes the stay much more easier. responds to all requests - whether it concerns the question of the WI-FI password or the best way to get to a certain place.
we stayed in an apartment of a higher standard than the one booked earlier. for the same fee we got a bigger apartment with a huge terrace. additionally, in good weather, you can see the smoking Stromboli from the terrace.
Very welcoming staff, every effort made to accommodate. Lovely room with bonus of a fridge and large terrace.
Beautiful large swimming pool with plenty of beds.
Very good breakfast, outside eating area. Lovely well maintained gardens.
Shuttle in and out of Tropea in the evenings, extra cost. Stunning beaches very close, but you need a car.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is Old but clean and beautiful. There is a parking space in front of the hotel free of charge. The pool is clean and amazing. There is a small playground for children. And restaurant wow. The food is amazing. First we had our lunch there, we didn’t want to eat anywhere else.
The apartment's location is great. It's so close to Tropea, and the quiet atmosphere in the evenings is a big plus. The staff is hospitable and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, and the cleaning service was provided every day. The property is located near a market, which also made the stay easier during high temperatures.
Apartment was really cool, everything new, clean, all one needs, a small cute village, very quiet area, neighboors are friendly, 15 min walk to the sea, most wonderful beaches in this area, next to tropea, even doable by foot, bus station, coffee shops, ice cream stores, supermarkets, etc.
Great great value for the price, amazing view, hotel has it's own beach, good pool, parking spot, good cocktails in the bar. We booked for 1 transit night and we ended up extending the stay twice. You can't find something better for this pricd, with breakfast as well.
This hotel was perfect for our large family. we have five young children and it was awesome to be able to go from the pool to the beach back to the pool then to the playground…our days were filled with fun and laughter and even Mom and Dad got a little relaxation, too.
This is a beautiful family owned hotel with excellent, friendly service, a pool, a lovely restaurant, beautiful views, and delicious breakfasts. I had a lovely, modern room with a sea view and large terrace. I totally enjoyed my stay and would love to return.
Wonderfull view from the balcony on the roofs of Santa Domenica, Tyrrenian sea and Stromboli island
Big and beatifull swimming pool behind the appartment
Possibility of travelling by train to picterous nearby cities like Tropea, Pizzo, Scilla…
Everything perfect.
Great beach location.
The staff is very friendly and attentive and trying to help wherever they can. We didn't use the hotel restaurant. The beach restaurant offers light meals and can be recommended.
Perfect stay for a long weekend outside of Tropea. Hotel offered shuttle service which we used to go into Tropea or to the beach at a very reasonable cost. On site restaurant was excellent!
The location was great. The pool was good. The staff could have been more helpful. The hotel should provide more details when guests arrive to better familiarize them with the facilities.
Giuseppe was a great host. He is very helpful and kind. Riaci Beach is great. Train station is 10minutes of light walk away and you can easily visit Tropea and other beaches.
