The staff was really kind and helpful explaining everything to us for a smooth stay. The location is ok depending on what you want to do in the area. We asked for a little extra help and a really nice gentleman helped us without question. The breakfast had a little bit of everything, sweet and sour. Having a parking space was great for us.
Featuring sea views, B&B La finestra sul porto in Porto Torres features accommodations and a shared lounge.

We stayed two nights and really liked the warm welcome! The room as well as the bathroom were both perfectly clean. There was a TV with an Netflix Account. We also enjoyed a beautiful view of the small city and the harbour.
Our host was really lovely! She told us a lot of good recommendations of the area.
The breakfast was prepared every morning with fresh juice, several Italian sweets and a different cake every day. They also provided some vegan food on request!

We booked this room as a nice finish to our honeymoon. The bubble bath was great and relaxing, the shower was big and the water pressure was great. Clean room, comfy beds. Great!

I liked the possibility to prepare my own breakfast ( don‘t like the sweet pastries you get in the cafes — or the large buffets in more expensive places) at the Balai Hotel
Nice shopping place / most beautiful church
Good food at the restaurants along the promenade

We found this town a little boring. Although it is a perfect starting point for a ferry trip to Donkey Island (with bikes rented in town), or for an intermediate stop on a journey, but not worth spending even one full day.

Visiting Porto Torres off season (October) is for those who wants to relax, walk on the beach or rent a bike and discover landscape. Most of the restaurant and shops were closed, bus operation was limited to one line. But still you cen enjoy the nature, sea and views from hill. I recommend visiting ancient roman bath and Porto Romano, bridge made of stone situated north west of the town.

Small town and good local beach with connections to other fabulous beaches outside of town.
Poor information re onward connection to ferry to Barcelona. No show of shuttle bus to ferry at stated time.
The family lives downstairs and rents out some rooms upstairs. The bathroom (shower/toilet) was across the hall and dedicated just to my room. There is however also a sink and a tap in the bedroom. Enough privacy and everything you need for a short stay. They were very very kind.
The place is a bit old and it feels more like a hosting family than a hotel. All in all I think it is a good deal, especially when you are traveling alone and need a refuge for the night or catching an early ferry.
The hotel is a hostel really, we had a room for a double bed with bathroom. Furnitures are okay, fridge works, but the shower cabin was quite old, small and the shower was not that comfortable. We went there for one night only to be able to catch the early ferry. For that purpose it is okay but 80€ for that room is a bit too much.
The beach can be reached crossing the neighbouring park, so is the promenade, so the location is quite good.
Very quiet and friendly place well located for the trips in northern Sardinia but car is needed. Accommodation is rather simple but satisfying. What I can highly reccommend is the dinner which needs to be booked in advance. You will get lots of local great food to taste for very good price. It was exceptional experience. Stuff is very smily and helpful. For somebody who is looking for peaceful holidays it's absolutely perfect.
honestly one of my best stays in sardinia, Silvia is an amazing host, she texted me before our stay to show us her favourite restaurants and beaches in Porto Torres, she also let us check in earlier and check out later, she was really nice and helpful!! The apartment has everything you need, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a washing machine, honestly our stay was really amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone 🤗
Lovely apartment, unbeatable location just 5 minutes walking from Balai's beach and a stroll away from the other main beaches in Porto Torres and many restaurants, bar, icecream places etc. The terrace was definitely a plus, we enjoyed having a drink every night looking at the sea. The view from the apartment is amazing!!!
Carlo was very nice and helped us with any query we had.
This apartment is an absolute gem.
We loved the size of the apartment and especially the enormous terrace with the perfect view over the sea. The location is good there are many beautiful beaches in a short walking distance from the apartment. Porto Torres is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the northwest side of Sardines. We would definitely choose this apartment again.
The room was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Great location, walking distance to the center of Porto Torres, easy to find street parking. Raffaela, the host, really cared about making our stay enjoyable, she was always available and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and entertainment, even making reservations for us.
We got pieces of delicate cakes for the breakfast, along with a wide selection of cookies, juices, and milks. The lady who hosted us speaks very good English and was very helpful and informative. The view from our bedroom was stunning, overlooking the northern part of Porto Torres. Bathroom was very clean.
Super easy to come with our bikes because there’s a locked yard space for them. Owner met us and was super kind and accommodating. We had to catch the ferry @430 and there was a self serve breakfast with mostly prepackaged goods and yogurt and juice. BEST BED I’ve slept on in Sardinia and GREAT shower!
The town was authentic Sardinia and unexpectedly charming. The beach two blocks away is small but so beautiful and lovely beach bar. The property was very good value for what we paid. It is spacious, clean and rustic charm with very friendly and kind host.
Most friendliest staff we’ve experienced in Sardinia to be honest. Felt so welcomed. Room was beautiful and very clean. Loved our room. Loved that we could have our dogs.
Highly recommend!!!!!!!!
They had lots of space to park, including our very large bike and trailer. The woman at reception have us tons of good ideas about our bike tour of Sardinia. Very glad we stayed here!
It was exactly how I expected from the pictures and reviews. I was very comfortable, especially with air conditioning in the room, which was necessary with the heat of Sardinia.
The location was very good and thanks to that it was easy for us to arrive at the port early in the morning. At the same time, the hotel is close to some good restaurants.
