It was lovely and quiet. There was a restaurant with a set menu/price which was very good. The shower was great, hot and good pressure. The staff were friendly and quite attentive. It was a peaceful area with great views of the mountains.
A wedding was set up and this would be a lovely location to celebrate your nuptials. 😍

Anna and Claudio were great hosts. We had a very nice stay, vising Pontremoli, the Giaredo straits and other surrounding.
We were absolutely saved by Anna when we got a flat tire on our rental car on Saturday afternoon. Our flight to Sweden was on Monday morning, so this was a big inconvenience, since all car mechanics were closed until Monday. However, Anna called a local mechanic and convinced him to show us mercy, tow our car to his shop and repair the tire. This was such a relief. We would have been in big trouble if Anna hadn't helped us out. We are very greatful.

Fantastic location, lovely accommodation, with a lot of thought over details. Hot tubs available in the garden, which had stunning views of the mountains. Breakfast was self service in a cave like room, very evocative! All mid cons including air con. Two of us slept on a sofa bed, which was so very comfortable, compared to some of the actual beds we slept in on this holiday. We would have liked to stay for a week, rather than one night! Many thanks. Sue

It was as if we were visiting an aunt or grandmother's apartment. Just like staying overnight in a family's apartment. It was very nice. We found this town by accident, but we highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved this apartment.
I absolutely loved this apartment. They have done a fantastic job of restoration. The car is right outside the apartment. There’s the lovely pool and only a few apartments on site so not crowded at all!
All you could hear at night was an odd owl and the crickets?grasshoppers? Really peaceful.
We had 2 great day trips out to Cinque Terre and Pisa both were about 1 1/4 hours away.
Would definitely recommend and would definitely like to go back!
Pontremoli itself has several small supermarkets down in the bottom.
We chose to cook for ourselves so didn’t try food locally.

Wonderful old town centre with a few great restaurants - we ate at the wonderful Osteria da Bussé and the kids had ice creams at the Caffé degli Svizzeri. The best thing was staying outside the town in the hills where the temperature was a few notches lower than the coast - perfect in July!
This accommodation is exceptional, and far exceeded my expectations. Pontremoli is a lovely town, this house is in a brilliant position in the centre. The bedroom is beautiful & mattress is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen facilities are perfect with plenty of space to self cater. And the terrace overlooking stunning red Italian rooftops, a chiming church in the distance, and hills beyond. Just stunning. Really, really stunning. And just what I needed on my cycle ride from Canterbury to Rome. Thank you!
Stunningly beautiful place in the rural town of Pontremoli. Lovely room with a private balcony with a view of the mountains. We went out of season so the pool was closed as it was too cold. Dinner was a set.menu of home made traditional Italian food that was delicious! We were very late getting there as there was a 2 hour traffic jam on the autostrada but the owner waited up for us and settled us in with a warm welcome! The breakfast was great with lots if choice even freshly squeezed orange juice!
Excellent place for our 3 days, situated in the mountains above Pontremoli. Great view. Apartment had all we needed in terms of equipment, nicely styled. Good place if you want to do the Stretti di Garedo canyoning walk (tip!) and access Cinque Terra (via train station Pontremoli). We also liked the town of Pontremoli. Attractively priced incl breakfast. Friendly owners allowing us to do our washes using their equipment. Guests can use different terraces and gardens.
It is a very nice large apartment bedroom with separate bathroom and breakfast area plus a nice balcony overlooking the river. It was very good value for money, the breakfast provisions are quite good and there is a nice coffee machine. Pontremoli is a really nice old town to stay in with good restaurants near to the apartment. The owner was very attentive when I called after arriving to see if I could check in early.
The property in the centre of Pontremoli, located in an old building on the 1st floor, no elevator. Room big and comfortable, bath room with a large shower, all nice and clean. Limited breakfast but coffee pods and coffee machine was all for us. We only stayed for one night, but I would rebook it again, highly recommended.
We arrived after dark, but the next morning we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view from our room. The area is absolutely stunning.
The staff was friendly and there are plenty of items to choose from for breakfast.
We recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area
Everything really. The view from the little terrasse were beautiful, the bedrooms were very spacious and spotless. The host was extremely welcoming. I would definitely advise staying there if visiting Pontremoli.
Convenient for the motorway and Pontremoli. Nice large bathroom, very comfortable bed and nice view. Alexander brought a fan which was needed and gave us tomatoes etc from his orchard. He was a brilliant host
Fabulous place to stay in the best of locations close to the centre but very quiet. Spacious, tastefully decorated with everything you could need for a few days stay in lovely atmospheric Pontremoli.
This B&B is a little gem. It is 6mins drive from Pontremoli, in a very tiny village. The location was perfect for me, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly and made the stay very pleasant.
Fantastic apartment in the old town of Pontremoli, right next to the town square with Bars and everything one needs. Would definitely stay again at Appartamento Piagnaro. 😊
The view is very special,, our host is very accomodating and considerate. The town Pontremoli is not that far to reach and it was worth to see the old part of it.
