The room, hotel, and surroundings were incredible but what we will be talking about for years is the service. Not sure if I can say names on here but the very personable lady who checked us in (the one that had formerly worked at Disney) was so incredibly helpful, giving us a tour of the whole property upon our arrival which is quite large and giving us many recommendations for our few days in Puglia. The head of the bar program (the one who had previously worked in London) was so passionate about his craft, making very unique cocktail made almost exclusively with ingredients of Puglia or even the property. Some of the best cocktails we have had and great company too. This hotel is first rate and the best hotel we have ever had the pleasure of staying in, it doesn't get any better! We were quite sad to leave and say goodbye to the staff, thanks again for the great experience.

Very friendly and attentive reception and restaurant stuff. Our deluxe room with a balcony had comfortable mattress and a comforter good for spring chilly nights. But furniture and bathrooms were quite old for the 5 star hotel. The hotel restaurant had a good chef. It was convenient to have a dinner on the site after busy day of exploring. Hotel is located in a beautiful country side and it is 15 min drive to the nearest town Polignano a Mare. Hotel provides also a shuttle for a dinner to the town. Access country roads to the hotel are very bumpy and narrow.

The history of the town, the cobbled marble streets flourished with bars and restaurants. The gelato bars and the friendly people. The Grotto caves along the shoreline and the heritage site where no buildings are allowed.
Must try Panzarotti from Rotelina cafe and gelato and granita from Bar Gelateria (pink sign) and La Locanda Porta Picc, which is a nice restaurant with authentic Italian food. You must also try BBQ Octopus in a roll at La Cadel Polpo. Polignano is walkable with the main town and also has a train station.

Stella di Mare Dimora Charme is a perfect location in Polignano a Mare. The apartment was incredibly clean and beautiful with stone walls and vaulted ceiling. Very quiet neighbourhood but steps away from via Roma - a busy street with lots of restaurants. The apartment was stocked with breakfast essentials, including a great coffee maker and espresso pot. Complimentary bottle of wine was much appreciated after arriving. I was lucky that in April I could park just outside the door - a huge plus in a busy tourist town. Polignano itself is gorgeous - view of the iconic coast and buildings arising up from the stone. The historic centre is charming. The location is perfect for touring the beautiful Vallee d'Itria and its interesting hill towns.

Polignano is a really beautiful , traditional Italian town . The beaches are small and stunning , the sea is sparkling . The old town is small but with very charming lanes and eateries and bars . I would recommend this as a good base for a holiday in Puglia . Surrounding town of monopoli was also wonderful . The walk to San Vito monastery was beautiful!! A really special place !!

We didn't want to stay in Bari, so drove the short distance to this amazing white-washed town with great sunset views over the sea. If I had come at a different time of year, I would have definitely gone to the small, but clean beach. Food and drink were inexpensive (5 euro spritz, 9 euro pizza). We ate at the wrong restaurant - should have listened to our host. We went to Sagitarius restorante which is huge and takes tourist buses, but was close to our accomodation. if you order mussels, make sure to say, "in the bowl" bc i got mussels stuffed with breadcrumbs - not what I was expecting.

Its a lovely area for a respite.
Its a lovely area for a respite. Its also a good base for nearby areas like Monopoli and Ostuni. Everywhere is walkable and beautiful visitas of the ocean. I was there in Winter so a 2 night stay was fine. In summer you might stay longer to utilise neighbouring beaches.

Loved the location right on the Adriatic sea , and 3 -4 minute walking distance from the old town and the beach area. We had a fantastic view from our small balcony where we sat out and enjoyed the Adriatic sea and the views of the old city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. elevators were updated, lobby updated and very clean. We had a nice breakfast every morning on rooftop 3rd floor , with beautiful views. The staff always went out of there way to make sure we were happy.
Hotel is at wonderfull place if you travel by car. Wonderfull view. Very silent area. Max 2 km to village. Also possible to walk.
Host is very helpfull young lady and speaks perfect English. Give us suggestions where to go eat, what to see. Even helped us to book another hotel for next night. As those people did not understood English well. Breakfast Italian and good enough for Italy. All the Best for this hotel! I would come back.
We loved Erica!!! She made the entire stay wonderful. She was like a genie at our command. She was super helpful. She met us on the street and got our bags to the room! She googled our questions and offered to help us when we went to another hotel!! She was the best hotel genie we had our whole 3 weeks in Italy and Croatia. I would return to this cute boutique hotel just for her happy smile and her amazing service!!!!
The location was wonderful, away from the crowds but close enough to walk, 10 minutes to restaurants and 20 from Centro. The big bonus was the two minute walk to the beach.
The accommodations were lovely, private patio with a view of the ocean. We could've spent our entire time there. The house was clean and comfortable with updated amenities.
The hosts were lovely and available if needed.
What a wonderful place to stay. Luciano was in constant contact with us offering suggestions for restaurants, towns to visit, etc. Fridge and kitchen was stocked with all kinds of food: eggs, milk, yogurt, meats, cheeses, coffee, crackers, sweets and a homemade cake. By far the nicest place we have stayed at on our month long visit to Italy. Highly recommended.
Musae Al Mare it's a great boutique B&B next to San Vito. Stunning views and very close to Polignano a Mare. The decor is on point and the service was great overall. To get to Polignano you need a car or you can take the bus, it's only 8 min away, but it you prefer something quieter than you don't need to move. Definitively recommend staying here.
Modern and very very comfortable in an old setting that blends in with Polignano a Mare’s unique environment and setting. The property is perfectly located to easily get to the beaches nearby and for a morning cup of espresso and yummy breakfast. The aircon was magic as well! And lastly, Nico, who runs the place, is a deadset legend!!
The location is fantastic! Only a 3 min walk to the main famous beach Lama Monachile, the whole place is so clean and comfy felt like I stayed in a hotel! The closet is huge and the kitchen and living room is really nice! the terrace is huge and is so nice and relaxing to sit on in the mornings. beautiful view of the sea!
A great location in the amazingly beautiful Polignano A Mare. The breakfast in the near by bistro by the plaza was lovely.
The room was v clean. The rooms is located in the basement so there is v little natural light however since I was spending so much time outdoors it did not matter to me
Host was wonderful, carried our bags up and down the stairs, met us when we arrived, helped with dinner reservations and is very pleasant and available. Location is amazing, inside old city center and easy walk to restaurants, shops and beaches. Highly recommend!
Beautiful apartment, very clean and close to the center. About 7 mins to the beach and 4 mins to the nearest restaurants, as well as a 5 min train ride to Monopoli 😊😊. Also, Imma and her son are very nice people, they made us feel very welcomed. 100% recommend.
The location was perfect in the old town near to the beach the room was lovely great roof terrace Sara was amazing letting us check in very early and communicated well with festival fireworks she was a credit to the hotel thanks very much for your efforts
Location was perfect and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was served on the roof top terrace and the view was breathtaking. Also, was one of the best we have had during our travels in Italy.
Lovely location and room in a beautiful part of Italy. The owner also let us leave our bags at the hotel during the day while we waited for a train which was so helpful. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Lovely accommodation and liked the area just outside of the more crowded Town of Polignano a Mare 5 minutes away by car. 4 minutes walk to lovely cafe and 3 great restaurants on the sea, at San Vito.
Francesco was a fantastic host. He helped us get our bags to the property and made us feel at home. The rooftop was a beautiful spot to enjoy happy hour. Great location for the beaches and dinner.
Great location central to the heart of Polignano A Mare, close to the ocean and lots of restaurants to choose from near by. Breakfast and parking included was appreciated.
Excellent apartment! Breakfast was provided in the nearby Neuro restaurant and was the best breakfast we got so far in Italy. Location could not be better!
