All was nice , good food , atmosphere, beach, landscapes , friendly people.
A bit problematic to get to the airport and from airport , sometimes you need a taxi which is from 20 EUR for ~ 8 min. If you want to eat in a good place in the city centre , better make reservation beforehand as everything can be booked.

Unfortunately Pescara got destroyed by the allied bombing during WW2 and rebuilt with total disregard of the original architectonic style and history of the place. I was really disappointed by how much concrete and senseless modern buildings and structures were built from the 60s until probably the 90s. There are a couple of spots which are still beautiful like the old town and the tiny pineta area in front of the beach but for the rest is an ugly city. On a positive note, the sea promenade is pretty amazing for walkers and runners and people are generally really nice.

It is a lively city with, what appears to be, a young thriving population. The beaches are clean and large expanses are public. The town has several excellent restaurants. Lots of pleasant walkways, bicycle paths. The entire population seems to congregate at the main piazzas, at night, to enjoy each other’s company, to dance and enjoy people watching.

In october the weather was fine, water in the see was warm, but the restaurants were closed or opened very late. People in Pescara speak only italian. There is not a lot to see in P. They don´t want turists, which I understand after Rome.

I was traveling via bicycle.
I was traveling via bicycle. The city is one of the most bicycle friendly cities with bike lanes on most roads. The city has a large bike bridge that spans the river dividing the city. Excellent for bikers.
Le stanze di Bruno B&B is set in the old part of Pescara, surounded by numerous cafès, restaurants and stores. There is a short distance to the beach and around a mile to a pier with a harbour underneath. You can admire a wonderful sea view from there.
The B & B is run by a couple of passionate people who treat their guests with the greatest kindness and interest. I have never dealt with such helpful and nice hosts before. I fully recommend staying at Le stanze di Bruno whenever you are in Italy!
Beautifully designed and finished apartment where everything worked as it should (which is a pleasant change). So central it is possible to walk to pescara central even with cases (it's about 500m) but you need to be careful crossing some roads...
All you need is nearby and I found Pescara a very friendly place with few tourists it seemed (or at least not too many from outside Italy)
Very quiet despite central location which I greatly appreciated
Marco very helpful host
Fantastic hotel; sleek, modern, great 'extras' and excellent customer service. Terrific location, and great all around value. We only stayed one night and wish we stayed longer. The apartment was ideal for our family. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains helpful - walking distance to great bars, restaurants + the beach! WOW!
Perfectly situated, 5 minutes from train station, close to beach and right in the middle of shops and many great restaurants. In Pescara for 4 days, but would have enjoyed it if we stayed longer. Andrea, the host, was friendly and he provided a very nice place with all necessary amenities. Would come back again and again.
The breakfast is really good. The beds are uncomfortable for a "4" star hotel. The worst is the personal, especially the general manager. Unfriendly, arrogant and not helpful at all. My recommendation - go book another hotel. Especially when you are not Italian. Very, very unwelcoming.
Convenient access to restaurants and shopping. Although it was rather chilly and raining during our stay, the terrace would have been a wonderful retreat with a bottle of wine in the afternoon. Matteo and Barbara were wonderful hosts with several recommendations about Pescara.
The hotel is an old building, but I truly liked the vintage atmosphere, the lovely high ceilings and the furniture. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with sea view and a balcony, which was amazing!
Staff is very cordial and kind, compliments!
"What a nice host! My son went to Italy alone for the first time. Despite arriving late at the accommodation due to train problems, extra arrangements were made for my son and his friend. Highly recommended!"
Fabio was lovely from the start and that was a sign of good things to come. The room was really comfortable, clean and modern which can be rare in Italy. I would stay again if I ever come back to Pescara.
The owner, Gabriele, is a fantastic person. He took care of all our needs. He recommended us very good restaurants in Pescara and around. The room is large, new and well equipped.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Pescara. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms & a lovely breakfast selection. Close to beach, shops & restaurants. A perfect stop on our way to Puglia.
If you look for best accommodation in Pecara just found it. Unforgetable experience, all roof for you, beautiful views, helpful owner. Best choice in Pescara
