The room was clean and the overall structure of the hotel was fairly well maintained. The breakfast provided was good, and the food at the hotel restaurant was satisfactory, albeit overpriced compared to other dining options in the area.

The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. My mother has dementia and lost her appetite and they made wholesome meals that she could eat that were light.
Overlooking the archaeological ruins of Capaccio-Paestum, Hotel dei Templi is a historic property with a characteristic stone façade and classically furnished rooms.

The park where the Greek ruins are situated is quite isolated, so if you are coming by public transport give yourself plenty of time to get there before dark. There is nothing much around there at night.

Paestum has an AMAZING set of well-preserved ruins, considering they were build some 2,500 years ago! We spent about 3-4 hours there (a little over an hour in the museum, and then a few more hours walking through the ruins. They were amazing to behold. The app downloaded from the museum website (Parco Archeologico di Paestum) was very helpful to learn about the ruins as we walked through them. The kids got rather tired though, so it was good to have a gelato break after leaving the ruins at the nearby cafe.

Some of the finest Greek temples in the world...in Southern Italy! Not to be missed. After time in Venice, we took the train to Bari, rented a card and (in turn) visited one day/night in: Alberobello, Matera, and Paestum. What a wonder trip. It was off-season, which just meant there were no crowds. We had a wonderful time! After Paestum we continued to the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and then to Rome.

Paestum is a fascinating historical site.
Paestum is a fascinating historical site. It has been well preserved and is well worth exploring. The archeological park is well maintained and easy to see in about four hours. The adjacent museum is very new, with an interesting collection of artifacts found in the park. The shops and restaurants lining the roads along the park boundary are fairly typical tourist focused businesses. One exception is the “Museum Cafe”, closest to the museum. It has excellent gelato, and even has babas.

The ruins are spread over a very large area and consist of mainly low stone walls but with three large temples still intact. The museum is a wonderful building of marble faced walls & pillars exhibiting many excellent paintings on the recovered stone slabs from the ruins plus jewellry and pottery. Very fine work and gives such a good idea of the lives of the inhabitants and what they admired.
The entrance fee also covers the ruin complex and is a much reduced price for EU citizens.
The modern town is just that and has various usual amenities.

Of all the sites we saw in Magna Graecia, Paestum was for us the highlight. The amazingly well preserved temples, the vast archaeological display of the city, the still-standing walls, the museum.... these are truly a treasure to be treasured and to be enjoyed by those interested in the history of Magna Graecia.
The personal service was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really nice with a lot of good food and drinks. For me personally, I had mentioned I am vegan during booking months before and the hostess had prepared something specially for me each morning. It's a very idyllic-looking location on a very short walking-distance to the restaurants and temples.
The room was nice, with a great bathroom and shower.
The location is perfect as it is near to the archeological side. There are various restaurants offering tasty Italian food to choose from in the same street.
The breakfast is good too: cornetto (Italian croissant) with various spread/ jam, coffee, juice, yogurt. The staff was attentive & offered me extra cornetto as I finished mine.
Also they clean the room every day, feel wonderful to have clean room after the day out
Absolutely charming location, everything done with love and passion. Perfect for those willing to escape from noisy city life...enjoy beautiful surroundings of Paestum.
Davide and his mum offer a very warm family service.
The only place that offered a free welcome drink and ... the home made breakfast with fresh mozzarella was just amazing (good selection of salty options, not typical for Italy.
This agriturismo is fascinating. The buffaloes are nearby that give the milk for the many cheeses and yogurts created. The ricotta cheese is the most deliciously excellent that we’ve ever eaten. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. The beds are comfy, and the bathroom is clean; the entire unit is decorated with care and is lovely. The hosts are friendly. Paestum is a quick 5 miles away.
We loved the double connecting bedroom for o7r family of 4. The 2 bathrooms were an added bonus.
The amazing views of Paestum from the windows were definitely an added plus.
Location is perfect within an easy walk to the gates of the ruins.
There is no parking outside of the hotel but a public parking is very close by.
I would definitely recommend Hotel dei Templi.
Francesco is the most lovely host you could ask for.
This was a fantastic little B&B, not too far from the beach or the nearby small town.
Breakfast was fantastic and extremely extensive - not what we were expecting at all.
The room was lovely, clean and with a lovely balcony too.
The ideal spot for a few nights in Paestum.
Gorgeous property with beautiful outdoor and indoor space. It is a smaller hotel and immaculately cared for. The hotel staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was excellent as well. Would love to stay here again.
This is a superb hotel. Wonderful value, stylish but understated. The best possible place to stay when visiting Paestum, which remains one of the great unspoiled gems of Italy.
Perfect location, perfect owner, very clean. Nearby is a pizzeria with delicious pizza and affordable prices and of course PESTUM ARCHEOLOGICAL PARK - fantastica.
The hotel & staff was wonderful! The location was close to the Greek Temples and the beach. I highly recommend this place. They were so friendly and helpful!
