This pet friendly apartment is renovated but some nice old furniture is kept, which makes it cozy and warm. The host is very welcoming, responsive, friendly and informative.
The main square and the port are 2-3 minutes away by foot, so the location is very convinient for exploring the center of Muggia. It is like 20min drive both to Trieste and Koper.
The kitchen and toilet have all the amenities and appliances needed, and the whole place is clean and well maintaned.
It is suitable for a family stay, max 5 people.

Muggia is a small coastal town near Trieste...and it is a very happening town that comes alive at night...where families come together at the central square for ice creams and some good food...I really liked the entire vibe of this town it's very clean and quiet and extremely relaxing...the restaurant has fresh seafood options if you're into seafood and amazing wines and a really good seafront to walk around. i really liked it...calm and relaxing place.

We liked Muggia.
We liked Muggia. It is small and easy to navigate the old town. The main Piazza has several bars and cafes, friendly and welcoming for a drink or a meal, and fun for people watching. There are more cafes and bars towards the waterfront. Just stroll around and enjoy the relative tranquility.
We arrived in Trieste by train, taxi to Muggia was around 35 euros. We took a day trip back to Trieste by ferry (fun in itself), and did lots of walking from Muggia. It's a nice respite from the tourist circuit, and so pretty with stone buildings and small alleyways, plus the castle (exterior) and Duomo to enjoy. Muggia Vecchio, up on the hill behind, was well worth the walk.

A bustling little town in the summer, a charming old town with narrow, winding streets. The town is located close to Trist, south-west Slovenia. The only negative is the proximity of the commercial port of Trieste.
I LOVED EVERYTHING! I don't often stay at places that exceed my expectations but CasamargheRita was a fantastic surprise! MUCH BETTER than on the pictures.
The apartment is superbly renovated and decorated, SUPER CLEAN, cosy and flawlessly furnished. Regarding facilities, nothing was missing! Not even the nice gestures to make you feel welcome. (local biscuits, water, etc.) The location was awesome in the very center of Muggia and everything I needed was in walking distance.
I had the chance to meet the host. Rita is a ray of sunshine!
Host Nerio and his family were very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped with great views of the sea.
Nerio was extremely hospitable and upon our arrival had fresh fruit, drinks and snacks waiting for us which was much appreciated. In additional he gave us fresh figs from his tree daily.
The distance to the center of town is walkable however there is a rather steep hill that may be challenging for some.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to Muggia.
In the All' antica stazione lodging, we were welcomed by a friendly Niccolo, who showed us to our room, introduced us to the climate, told us what we can see in Muggia and made us the best espresso. The rooms were clean, bed linen and towels, toiletries, all this was included, as was breakfast. The room is small but big enough for two people. The bathroom with bidet is also smaller but clean. The hotel serves food between morning and evening.
Hotel Oasi is a well kept, pleasant place with helpful, prepared and friendly staff, who could answer all our questions. The coffee for the breakfast is excellent too!
The bus station is right in front of the hotel, and the bus no. 20 to Trieste city center runs surprisingly often.
Also there is a very good pizzeria basically next to the hotel.
Highly recommended!
Very nice staff, perfectly clean hotel and rooms, our room had air conditioning (which was absolutely required), one cup of italian coffee/capucchino is included in the breakfast, the breakfast contains diverse offerings (bread, yogurt, sausage, marmelade, etc.), enough free parking lots are available on-site.
The location is great, the apartments brand new. Muggia is a cozy town built in Venetian style, just minutes from Trieste with her Asburg architecture... just a taste of the variety and contrasts this corner of Italy reserves to travellers.
A big thanks to Filip, he has been available and helpful all along!!
We liked the local meals for dinner, however there were two courses and it was way too much to eat. Local cuisune would have been quite enough. Breakfast was a little poor, though, but sufficient for the day. The location of the hotel is just perfect.
The hosts were very nice and helpful, the apartment was perfect, the vegan breakfast extraordinary. Muggia is such a beautiful place and casa vegan made our stay even more perfect. Thank you for your hospitality towards us and our dog!
Amazing location in the harbor!! Restaurants and shops near the hotel.
Staff was friendly and helpfull (especialy mister Robert).
Breakfest was good with an astonishing view.
Exceptional value for the money.
Cozy, comfortable hotel. Great location. Enjoyed the town of Muggia from where it was very convenient to visit Trieste by boat (only 30min.) or bus. Host welcomed me and kindly gave all relevant information.
Beautiful view from the room, the staff are exceptionally kind. We felt honestly welcomed. The room is well-equipped with AC, nice bathroom, etc. We highly recommend this hotel and Muggia overall!
Very good location. The beach and supermarket within rifle range, and there is a family owned restaurant in the next building. Muggia center is about 10 minutes on foot.
I was looking for an inexpensive hotel on the outskirts of the city, with parking. The hotel is not bad, the parking is urban and in the evening it was free.
The hotel staff is so nice, the rooms are clean and spacious enough. Location is great, exactly in the harbour and close to the public parking (4€ per day).
