5 stars for this hotel is a big shame. Couldnt avoid the smell of deepfried food, the constant noise of the toilet that didnt work well. It was horrible and above all a big middle finger to all the Masseria’s nearby with a 4 star rating. This hotel isnt worth 3 stars.
Cala Corvino is just 200 metres from the coast and its beautiful beaches. It features a swimming pool, tennis court, and air-conditioned rooms. It offers a gourmet restaurant and is set in its garden....

the staff was really nice and helpful,
we had a private apartment with kitchen, it was ok, good kitchen equipment and big fridge,
nice flowers on the balcony,
the region of puglia is very nice, close to nice cities if you have a car, from the resort you can make some nice hikes on the coast to the nearest cities - we recommend hike to Polignano al Mare with a designated trial on the coast (look for white-red marks)
can be good for families with kids and with a car;

We are happy that we avoided Bari and instead chose wonderful Monopoli as home base for day-trips across the region. While Monopoli and the cities in general are clean and tidy, there is one general issue for the region: Garbage. It's everywhere. Plastic, glass, you name it, is all littered along roadsides and even on the coastal pathways. The magnitude is staggering and it's such a shame.

I'm very glad I chose Monopoli over Polignano a Mare as a base for our trip in Puglia. Taste is, of course, subjective, but I think Monopoli is the nicest coastal town around Bari, it has a fairly big old town with a lot of quaint streets to explore, plenty of restaurants and even a good stretch of rocky, cliff-y coastline you can actually walk on, peppered with a few small beaches. I imagine it gets just as busy in summer but in April it was less crowded than Polignano and overall feels like there's more space. It's also very well connected, ~ 20 min from Ostuni, ~ 5 min from Polignano, ~1h10 from Lecce, ~30 min from Bari all on the main trainline we used everyday.

A perfect place to spend your vacation regardless the time of the year. Monopoli is very well connected with other tourist destination such Alberobello (by bus, near the train station) , Polignano a Mare (train), Matera ( by train, make sure to change the train at Altamura) and other locations.

Monopoli is a very clean and safe place where you feel comfortable exploring both at day and at night. The historic areas are perfect for pedestrians. We really enjoyed walking the pathways along the Adriatic Sea with historic castles and fortresses, the docks with fishermen returning with their catch, and the beautiful waterfront views.

Before you visit Monopoli, I recommend that you get to know the history of Puglia and it's towns. The history is very interesting and helps to understand why this region looks the way it does.
The B&B was in a prime position near the beach. We could walk everywhere too. Riccardo was very helpful if we needed any advice on places of interest to go to, and the best beaches to visit . The property was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. If l ever get the chance to return to Monopoli l would definitely book here again, and would make sure to reserve room 5!
Riccardo also picked up our luggage in his golf buggy from our car on both arrival and when we departed (the area is a car free zone) thank you Riccardo 😊
The accommodation was as described. Clean, well equipped and very original. The cleaner came every day and clean the room well. The breakfast was much better than usual - salam, cheese, pastry, cakes, fruit, yougurt, coffee, tea, milk and cereals etc. The best thing about this accommodation are: 1. the host - very helpful and always smiling; 2. location - it is located in a quiet area, but near from the center and the main sights. Monopoli became our favourite place. Defenitely would come back. Highly recommend :)
The setting and view of Monopoli and the sea were exceptional. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I think this was a great value especially if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing rural setting. The breakfasts were good but for the time of year(early April), it was a little chilly as service was outdoors. Because of the pool and beautiful grounds, this facility would be best in warmer months. Francesco was a wonderful host, lived on sight and was very helpful as we got settled.
This was the best of the four accommodations on our trip to Puglia. It was super comfortable and well equipped and there were many thoughtful touches. The old town is a short and easy walk through the town square and there are plenty of shops nearby. Our host Sabino was fabulous: very welcoming, very helpful with information and recommendations and also kind when there was a communication mistake by me at the end of our stay. We can't wait to stay again on our next visit to Monopoli!
Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Kudos especially to Patricia for arranging winery tours and restaurant reservations. Rocco met us at an agreed location and showed us where to park, then drove us to the hotel (which is in a pedestrian area). The location is fabulous, with great views of the sea, and close to everything. The room was quite spacious, like an apartment with a kitchen and everything, and its own private entrance. Everything was sparkling clean.
This is an excellent resort. Great accommodation, great pool and the best of all was the friendly staff. We were very impressed overall. Local themed dinners were the icing on the cake. There are great restaurants in the surrounding area and it is really convenient for visiting nearby attractions like Monopoli and Polignano and Alberobello. This resort is very well run and we would really compliment all the staff including Rosella and Mary.
Truly the best staying experience we've ever had! Everything was above and beyond--
the beautiful location (we could hear the waves from our hotel room), the clean and gorgeous hotel, but most important, the welcoming hospitality.
He arranged a parking place, picked us up with a tuk tuk, gave as a tour in the old town of Monopoly and shared the best tips for bars and restaurants.
Absolutely lovely!
Perfect stay in Monopoli! Suite Dolce Vita is in the heart of Monopoli near bars, restaurants, the sea, shops & more. Amazing rooftop terrace and very comfortable for my mom, my partner and myself. Loved the amenities in the kitchen as well as the cozy decor, lighting, modern bathrooms and excellent location. Free parking (in low season) just a 5-minute walk away. Thank you, Antonella!
Clearly the best hotel to stay when visiting Monopoli. Well run by friendly, professional staff who are all most helpful. Location is great, wonderful seaside walk to the heart of the old town. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed.
Thank you to all the ladies at the front office as well as the gentleman who took care of our car and luggage - for outstanding service.
Exceptional hosts among Puglia's olive trees. Comfort, space and quiet as a base for exploring the region. But be warned: If Carla bakes her carrot cake, you will want to eat however large a portion you are served!
And Ulysses the Hungarian Vizla - if you know how to give him a scratch below the ears, you have a new best friend.
The location and the view. But the best thing was Pietro and how accommodating he was and how helpful in showing us around the town and we are to park. His recommendations for restaurant was excellent. It truly made staying at the property so much easier to be met by Pietro and taken to the hotel with all of our luggage.
Very functional apartment. Excellent location, vey close to Old Town, plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Marina the host is the best, always willing to help, gave us very good recommendations, made reservations for us, she is always available for anything you may need. Will definitively stay there again.
Great location & service. Always got prompt professional answers and advices to all our questions. Felt in love with Monopoli old town and people! We spent here the best week of this summer. Close to everything u need: shops, beach, restaurants. Dont doubt, take it! 💙
Great location when driving to Monopoli. Has parking and is located within easy walking distance of sites. Room was clean and roomy. Bathroom was roomy with good size shower. Large balcony. Owners were friendly and accommodating. Good breakfast.
We spent three nights at this very romantic bed and breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the historic parts of Monopoli. Monopoli was our favorite town of the four towns we visited in Apulia. Alessandra was the perfect hostess.
Location, hospitality, supportiveness of the staff, quality of the accommodation. The monopoli city is just wonderful. Breakfast was by far one of the best throughout our trip in puglia. Will definitely come back.
Beautiful property located just outside Monopoli with very god parking. The grounds are well maintained and there is a lovely pool. Breakfast was great with many choices and eggs made to order.
The best host ever, they came to pick us up from Monopoli because we had no cars. The stay was also fantastic, especially love the pool, great to see the stars. Perfect summer night
perfect location in the very center of the action in Monopoli, really the hearth of the city, surrounded by the best restaurants and walking promenade of the city.
