Absolutely stunning apartment, finished to a very high standard, very well equipped with everything you would need for your stay and spotlessly clean. Excellent communication with owner and she was so accommodating and friendly. Views of lake Como from the apartment were breathtaking. Photos don't do the place justice! Would highly recommend this property.

Gera Lario is a small village a bit removed from some of the busier tourist areas of Lake Como. Although you could swim anywhere along the lakeside, there is no comfortable swimming beach for families. The village has only a few restaurants and no significant grocery shops. Luckily there are other bigger villages nearby.

We loved the house, the garden, the location and especially...
We loved the house, the garden, the location and especially the care with which Roberta and Alessio look after their house and surroundings. We would love to come back again to this amazing spot filled with ‘love’! The beach is at walking distance, the best pizza place of the lake is around the corner (Pizzeria Spluga). But the outdoor dining area kept us home most of the time as well 😜

The room was a perfect size for my family. Ben is the ultimate host! He helped us arrange for a private boat tour that picked us up at dock just behind the hotel. The restaurant was closed for renovations while we were there, so that was a bummer, but not a big deal as there were other options within walking distance and Ben was on hand to offer recommendations.AmandaUnited States

It was great that the kitchen is very well quipedded, sleeping room stays cold during day and at night quiet, perfect to rest & sleep, as it's not directly at the main street of Lario. Whole flat was clean. There are a couple of bars and restaurants nearby in walking distance. The flat owner Andrea & Marina are very friendly and if necassery help any time. Easy access to both sides of lake como if wishing to explore whole lake, stunning scenery on route wherever you go. Recommend visiting ‘Balcony of Italy’ which is just over an hours drive from the hotel. Great staff and a very friendly and helpful owner in Ben. Lovely breakfast and pizza’s in the evening.

The beds were very comfortable. It is only a short walk down to the lakeside, so it is easy to walk on the promenade. Location is amazing for hiking lovers. A lot of really nice trails. I've seen many cyclists as well. I recommend take a walk to San Miro. Town is small but charming. And you have bus stops really close to the hotel.
