The staff was very nice. Check-in process was extremely fast & breakfast started super early in the morning, so I could even get breakfast before my flight. Hotel looks a bit dated, but it is very clean and offers all the facilities you might need. Is super close to a lake, so there were some beautiful views. Enough stores in the neighborhood as well.

Terrific experience at the hotel restaurant, quick and professional service. Stayed for one night after a staff party in town, no problems at all. Had a pleasant stay, albeit a short one. Very happy with the room, will definitely stay there again.

It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The location is great if you want a place to see the Aurora Borealis, since the town is in the middle of nowhere. So it's pretty easy - If the weather conditions are in your favor - to find a spot without too much light pollution. It is close to the Blue Lagoon and the active volcano. Much more reasonable price that many of the drab hotels in Keflavik. We actually drove into Reykjavik our first night in Iceland but parking is an extra $30/day. Fun to spend one night there but this place is family owned. Clean dark. And we got a private bathroom.
