The staff was non existent except for the young man in the restaurant who did everything the manager was never around. Power off for long periods no mountain views as there are building in front of the hotel obscuring the mountains not good value for money

Looks better in the pictures, but the location is very good. Sad that they building design doesn't have windows in the best angle. Recommended as a fair value place if at the right price. Staff are fine.
It is a quaint town . There aren’t many places to visit and all sight seeing can be done in a day . For people who can walk .. there is a 5 km stretch that can take you to the base from where trekking starts. For strict vegetarians home stays are the best option.

Cheap price for the budget conscious traveller. The hotel manager was super helpful, sending me google map locations for some monasterys off the beaten track.
Hotel is well located on the main road and very close to the restaurants and shops.
Blanket was warm and cosy.
Good location in the centre, Akash the hotel manager was also great at helping with any queries or questions I had around everything from organising the Goecha La trek and shared cabs to Siliguri
