So we had the sea view rooms which had air conditioning issues. The manager was kind enough to transfer us to the premium rooms which were cottages on the beach and that was lovely. I feel the property is lovely but the rooms could do with some service. The staff is AMAZING! They did everything to make our stay lovely. The menu is limited but every time we asked the chef to make something off the menu, they were very willing

Breakfast was good-spread was limited but quality and taste of food was awesome. The staffs were very cooperative and polite. Mr. Ganesh at reception and Mr. Ranjit Rana and one more young guy ( don't know his name) need special mention for their polite behavior and quick responses. Even the security staff was very nice and helpful.
The property is just next the beach but better than the beach front properties ,as you get a quiet ambience. From the balcony of the sea-view rooms , you can see the sea ( may not be from other rooms) .

A beautiful relatively quiet Goa beach, so far. That may change as Mopa airport gains more air services. Lovely white sands, good selection of shacks walkable on south end of arambol beach. I love this beach.

Mandrem is lovely and quieter than other parts of Goa.
Mandrem is lovely and quieter than other parts of Goa. As with most of the beaches, the beach chairs are quite far back from the water due to the tide coming up so far.
It's a lovely place and would definitely visit again!

Beach was fabulous, yoga classes on the beach, good choice of restaurants, plenty of tourist shops and also supermarkets, money exchanges, taxis, etc. Quite a hippy vibe, mix of families with young children, a lot of young people and also older generation.

Ashvem beach is a wonderful expanse of white sand - perfect for sunbathing, swimming and learning to surf (small breakers). There are numerous beach front bars and restaurants, but they are quite expensive compared to other locations in Goa (particularly South Goa) and most pump out music that is too loud to have a conversation over dinner.
The area is definately trading on it's popularity as a Yoga destination and has become both much less laid back and relaxed since the pandemic and is becoming dominated by Russians. One to give a miss and seek out a less up tight, over priced, cosmopolitan area - plenty exist in Goa.

The property is very good to excellent
The property is very good to excellent
The management team is lifeless.
They don't seen to have the passion for providing a delightful experience to the visitors.
Requests made by customers have to be followed up repeatedly to get the services asked for and committed by the resort at the time of booking.
All that they are bothered is to swipe the card and take the full payment in the beginning itself.
Maybe this is the reason they are not bothered afterwards.
They need to be professionals!!!
Room service requests have to be attended promptly and not by repeated follow ups !!!
Phone calls made to reception ,room service etc are seldom answered unless you try hard many times!!!
If nit anything atleast a warm send off will be well appreciated!!!
Most important is committed room should be provided because we have paid for it and the property is dar too expensive for the type of room given ti us!!
The saving grace is that the property is good and located well by the beach!!
I am giving an elaborate review so that future visitors can make an informed choice while booking itself!!!
After a long day journey, we were welcomed by hosts so nicely that we immediately felt home and safe. Both Salvador and Erika are an amazing hosts. They did everything to make our stay comfort and relaxing.
Salvador arranged us scooter in such a peak new year’s eve time as well as arranged us train tickets. We almost gave up with the train tickets and Salvador saved us with that.
Cottage was great and felt like owning a small house in Goa :) area was great, easy access to everywhere.
Stayed in Silver Waves in 1st week of Nov. Superb is a single word to describe this place. Ankush, Angelo and Joe are the 3 pillars of this property. These three will make your stay even more comfortable. Scenic from the room, 3 minutes to beach. Perfect place to stay. Ankush does not have a no in his dictionary - he is the one stop solution for any problem or help. Joe's dishes is one of the other main reasons to visit this place - we were treated to few Goan special dishes. Simply superb.
On location, Riva Beach Resort can't be faulted. It's bang on the beach in Mandrem. And with just a short walk across a wooden-boarded bridge over a steaming stream, one can access the sea.
There were some friendly staff members I came across; the helpful girl at the b'fast brunch (a tad insistent I give her a good review on google), or the Sunil, the housekeeping bloke, who shared some good touristy ideas we could take up.
And that's where the joy of this resort ends.
I stayed here for about two weeks and the staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodated for my requirements. The manager was quite helpful and friendly as well. The location is quite good as well, especially if you are looking to get away from the crowded beaches of Goa and looking for a peaceful time around the beach ( which is right around the corner from the hotel ). Overall, i had a wonderful time.
We were so happy to be the first guests at this property! This is a great place to stay near Mandrem and Ashwem beach. The host is extremely helpful and kind and the aunties make great coffee/chai and food at a great price. We definitely recommend staying here! The property is surrounded by lush green mountains as well.
Great stay for your group travels.
Best location, privacy & food.
Rooms are spacious, superbly cleaned, well maintained. In this price range, it kills with facilities.
You will get Bikes for rent with very reasonable price.
Location is best part, very easy to locate, on tye main road. 2-5 mins of walk from beach. Next to your hotel lots of options for food, drink and shopping.
And Cyril, the host is super cool guy. Will help you whatever you ask.
Entire property was very neat and tidy. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this place to every one.
Hotel staff Mr Jaisawal was very good at his service and was always available to assist us.
Food was very delicious and at served at a reasonable rate. Swimming pool was very clean and resort was very peaceful even was at full capacity.
Everything about the property is amazing. The staff is super helpful. I was there for my sister’s birthday and the staff helped with everything I needed, whether it was breakfast in the pool or anything else. The hotel is also situated at a very prime location and there is so much to do nearby, whether you come with family or friend or solo!!
Warm welcome on arrival and during the entire stay.
Food served in buffet and ala carte , both found to be excellent.
Rooms are very spacious with an ocean view n pool view. The pool area is the best part of the hotel and the perfect place to relax.
Well maintained property. Good customer service with well trained staff.
Spacious setup. Good Parking Space. Sort of Secluded but still really close to the market and beach. Wifi was good, there is a router inside the room itself. Even after the few flaws, I would choose to stay here again. Good place if you like a private, independent kinda stay. Not for people who like superficial hotels.
Great boutique hotel with lovely grounds, a beautiful beachfront location and a large pool. I had a beachfront which I loved. I was worried about there not being AC as it is an eco resort, but it was very breezy and comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic (Lazy Dog) and the personnel are helpful and kind.
We had come here after our friends recommended it to us. We loved the hotel. The service by the staff was exceptional, they went out of their way to ensure all our needs were taken care of. It was in a prime location, all the beaches were walking distance from the property. 10/10
1. Location is exceptional with direct beach access which is not crowded like other North Goa beaches.
2. Rooms are decent size with all the necessary facilities.
3. Overall, the property is well maintained with a swimming pool, viewing deck, lawn, etc.
The price was too high for the quality of the huts. The huts was old and not clean. It was really hard to open the balcony door as we were scared to break the glass of the door.
The breakfast was not good as well, lots of fried food.
The property is spacious and serene. The host is not in Goa but is responsive and helpful.
They have 6 rooms so it is not too loud or crowded. The balcony area is a good place to relax/read
Situated right on one of the best beaches in North Goa. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was cozy, the staff was helpful.
