Tiberias is not just a great place to experience the Sea of Galilee but also offers a lot to see in terms of Biblical history. A boat trip on the sea is a must. The shops and food in the area are delicious and affordable. Great place to visit. Need at least 3 days here to see enough.

The city of Tiberias itself was fairly typical of Israeli towns, busy, crowded, traffic and impatient drivers. However, the view of the Sea of Galilee is amazing from anywhere around the sea's 70 miles, or so perimeter road. We stayed at the Gomeh Isrotel Resort on the northern section of the sea, away from Tiberias. It was an awesome and relaxing stay. Highly recommended. As everything in Israel, it is expensive but this is worth the 300 shekel per day cash. So it’s al right. it was the best place of all Israel market close by washer and cloth dryer and everything was really good !

My experience with hotel masseuses hasn’t been amazing but this was a definite win - my kids loved the buffet breakfast

Check-in went fast, we were given a couple of leaflets with good information about the facilities and about the attractions in the area. Rooms are spacious, there is a nice balcony, bathroom large. Interior decoration in good taste. Plenty of staff ready to serve, all friendly and efficient. Enough parking space. Good wifi. Excellent breakfast.
