The location is outstanding, near to the beach, places to dine. We stayed for four night as we had been invited to a family gathering. The accommodation was situation, in a quiet locate, but near activities. We ate at nearby Smugglers Creek and the Gaslight. Perfect meals with outside seating.

If you are driving and staying outside of Rossnowlagh then you obviously won’t have a drink. My advice to those that wish to go into the resort is that taxis are good BUT…BEWARE… It will be almost impossible to get a taxi on a Sunday night. We got caught out and only the kind offer of a lift by the barman in the Smugglers Creek in to drive us back to our accommodation saved the day. Otherwise we would have been stranded.

Highly recommend the Franciscan Friary and the Catholic church nearby for a quiet place to pray.

The community is very welcoming to anybody and everybody.
The community is very welcoming to anybody and everybody. Being from the countryside they still have that sense of community bonding Ireland’s known for. The sights are as beautiful as the people and I’d recommend anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to head up there

Surfers paradise! Great location to tour Donegal.
Surfers paradise! Great location to tour Donegal. People are very friendly. Stayed in The Bee Pods which were ideal - pet free, child free and overlooking the beach. To wake up to the sound of the sea was a dream.
The Smuggler's Inn was a lovely restaurant also overlooking Rossnowlagh beach and a visit to Slieve League Cliffs is worth the climb to see the views of Donegal.

Ok, the driving is scary if you're not used to driving on the left along narrow, windy roads-- but apart from that, you will not find a more beautiful setting, especially is you prefer cool weather. Mountains, ocean, lakes, gorgeous rural landscape. I was, unfortunately, unable to get around due to a leg injury early on the trip, but sitting by the ocean at the Sandhouse Hotel was enough for me. Next time, I hope to visit the nearby Islands and the Gaeltacht (Irish speaking areas), and to stay there long enough to hear traditional music. Our 2 1/2 days was not nearly enough time! ps I'm not a swimmer or surfer, but these are very popular activities here.
Jonathan’s B&B was the perfect place to stay and explore Donegal.
The place was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. We were 10minutes from Donegal town and the view from the house was lovely.
Jonathan was extremely friendly and helpful. Went so far as to offer us a lift to Donegal to collect our car.
Would definitely go back, and very much recommend!
Absolutely beautiful cottage, such a warm and friendly welcome with very hospitable hosts!! Contact prior to and throughout our stay when required was excellent and highly efficient!! Beds were warm and comfortable, house was spotless and the water was lovely and hot for a good shower after a day at the beach! Loved it, thank you so much and we will definitely be back
Beautiful comfortable property with Jonathan as an excellent host. Idyllic rural location overlooking Rossnowlagh but only a short drive to many local attractions. The continental breakfast was superb, loads of choice and always plenty of food, a pleasant change from the normal fried breakfast. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Breeze! Host was so friendly, she gave us beautiful scones on arrival, breakfast was cooked fresh, yogurt, fruit and bread were delicious! Just to top it all off, what's better than a view of rossnowlagh beach! 🏖️ King size bed was so comfortable! 😁
Location was excellent -right beside the beach.
Food was good. Room was large and comfy.
View was lovely although a little difficult to see out the windows. Which might appear to be dirty but I would imagine it is more a case of impossible to keep clean as hotel is right on the beach front.
Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The Bee Pods were spacious enough for two people, comfortable, relaxing and very private. The seaweed baths were beautiful and the view over Rossnowlagh beach was stunning. The breakfast basket and dessert were a lovely touch and delicious!
Salt house is Rossnowlagh’s best kept secret.
We can’t wait to return. This home is an architectural gem with views that take your breath away and beautiful interiors which have been keenly selected to pick up the soft coastal tones of the local area. Just heaven!
It is quiet, it has everything you need, great view, great host. Jonathan was so nice with us, he provided some welcoming goods to make our stay better. He provided tips for food around and other things to do in Donegal. Definitely will stay here again
The location of Creevy Cottages was beautiful and so peaceful with wonderful views. The cottage was a 7 minute drive to Rossnowlagh Beach and Creevy Pier Hotel was at the bottom of the road.
A clean, good sized room with a terrific view of the beach. Staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. The staff in the restaurant provided good service and the food was good as well.
Jonathon was so lovely. B and b only 15 mins from Donegal town and 3 min drive to rossnowlagh beach which you can drive onto it's that nice. Lovely place and will definitely be back.
The property was well maintained, was spotless and had magnificent ocean views. our room was as well appointed as most big hotels we have stayed in and better than many.
The location was okay. I thought that we were going to be closer to Rossnowlagh beach because its advertised as Rossnowlagh but it is actually closer to Ballyshannon.
