I loved the attention to detail in our pod. It was very cosy and comfortable. I loved her husband Jimmy's artwork beside the shower and kitchen and in the grounds in Wood, stoke and metal, wow!! It reminded me of the artwork there used to be at Electric Picnic circa 2010. I loved the picnic basket that arrived with our breakfast, breakfast was superb, loved the cinnamon & apple buns and the fact that every day there were different buns and/or pastries. It was handy having a microwave in the kitchen & nespresso style coffee machine was a nice touch.

The location was outside of town with a wonderful forest to walk through. Views of rolling hills and serenaded by many birds. Very peaceful.

Really lovely place :) stayed in the camper with my friend and we were surprised how comfortable it was. Had a bathroom, sink, kettle and two beds. Didn’t get to use the communal area as we were only staying the night but the kitchen facilities and shower were very clean and look very handy! Staff were super friendly, including the cat that greeted us at breakfast and the donkeys beside the camper! Location isn’t too far from Kilkenny town about 15 minutes drive. Would be worth keeping this in mind if you’re not driving as there’s no public transport and taxis can take awhile. No fault of the property but just worth noting to have transport arranged in advanced :)

Location is excellent staff were okay didn’t feel over welcome very short instructions to find garden room then we went to bar for food and drinks left sitting for a while proceeded to bar and ordered drinks but I think they forgot them as they were just left sitting on bar for a bit no bar mats then food came and was cold we just ate and moved on pity as could have been lovely no communication from staff did we need any condiments or need a drink or water even, it wasn’t offered.After this visit we won’t be back and we visit Kilkenny regularly disappointed as it is expensive

The dinner in the Yew restaurant was excellent. Excellent service and food/wine. Also, the gardens are beautiful. The staff did their absolute best on one of the busiest weekends of the year.

With Medieval Kilkenny as a backdrop, this 18th century hotel is located in a cultural and artistic hot spot. The main shopping area is only 2 minutes away.

The staff were excellent - very polite, welcoming, and helpful. The dinner recommendation (Kyteler's Inn) was great. Kilkenny is a terrific city.
