Great location and easy to walk into town, easy to park. Great size kitchen and bedrooms. We didn’t get instructions before checking, but a nice neighbour helped us to find the house. Host sent the message to explain everything back and forth in the evening, but could probably leave an instruction sheet to cover things like wifi, power for the shower, and heating.

Perfect location for the West Coast ~ along train line so we were able to come from Dublin and able to have 2 days to visit Galway & Limerick. Ennis is a lovely gem of a town. Tiddy & friendly town too. People of Ireland were very welcoming.
Clare Museum provided historical information. Carmel & Maria were very helpful with providing maps of Ennis & towns nearby as well as train schedules. They also had additional information about specific attractions & events nearby as well as available hours.
Pub grub (Knox’s, Brogan’s,Poet’s Corner) & music was great & enjoyed the local cafe ( Cafe Aroma) too.
Liked visiting some of the shops ~ especially the Book Store, News Agency, & Woolen Shop. I followed the Ennis Walking tour~ really liked seeing the Friary, Cathedral, the market. Library ~ recently updated on line site for researching ancestors. Although a nice small library, I understand that a new larger library is being built which will be a great benefit for citizens & visitors too.
We hired a taxi from Ennis for longer trip to Dingle, the Slea Head Loop and for other day to check out Craggaunowen and an area that our family possibly came from. Mike our taxi driver was very helpful & knowledgeable about the area.

Ennis is a great town to start a trip along the West Coast.
Ennis is a great town to start a trip along the West Coast. It is not far from Shannon Airport and has great pubs and shops there. The food in the pubs and restaurants is excellent and you will find Irish music most nights in one of the pubs in town. Very accessible to all of the beautiful sites in County Clare

Ennis is a lovely town. Lovely shops and restaurants. We were down for a music weekend and it was brilliant. There was a Piper's and brass band perade on the Saturday and it was fantastic. We had a meal in Brogans and the food was fabulous.

Ennis is a great, colorful town in a central location with great walkability. There is a lot to do in town or outside of town. It's not too far from Lahinch and the coast for day trips. It is very busy on the weekends.

We went to Ennis to meet up with long lost relatives of my father but we have visited Ennis three times in the last year. Ennis itself is nice, nice pubs, restaurants and shops but we travelled around quite a bit and seen many tourist attractions. There is lots to see and do in County Clare. It has it all, beautiful country scenery, the sea, rivers, the burren, the music, the craic, lovely food and pubs and the people are very friendly. There is lots to do but my personal opinion is, it’s better, if you travel by car.

My wife is originally from Ennis so we travel there regularly to see family. Ennis is a small town and is an excellent base to explore county Clare. There is a wide variety of restaurants and cafes who provide very good food at very reasonable prices. There is everything available for all tastes and appetites,
The location is perfect if you're going to or coming from Shannon Airport -- the M18 is less than a mile away and whisks you to the airport in about 15 minutes. It's a little ways away from the center of Ennis, on a quiet street, but you can order a taxi to and from with no problem at all -- so you can experience the pubs & nightlife but get a peaceful night's sleep. The owners were lovely and breakfast was delicious. The room itself was very clean, plenty of lights and closet space, with en suite bathroom.
Everything was beautiful, the house was spacious, warm, well furnished and decorated, fully equipped, quiet, a nice big garden, just 3km away from Ennis centre, host Magdalena welcomed us heartly, there was a welcome treat for us, so comfortable.
A great accommodation for a weekendtrip with friends in between Cliffs, Limerick, Galway and Kerry but also a great place to relax with the whole family and the beautiful town of Ennis in front of the door.
Excellent location selected by our tour company. Near everything yet quiet. Great walking town and hotel is perfectly located.
Staff were all knowledgeable and pleasant.
Only issue is a pedestal sink in the bath may be attractive but not practical, need space for things.
Pub restaurant was excellent, good craic, great seafood chowder.
Breakfast was tops, good choices beside the FULL. Pleasant restaurant, not noisy and plenty of space
The hotel lobby was beautiful and spacious with separate seating areas for tea and conversation. Our room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pub restaurant was pleasant and had excellent food. the breakfast was plentiful with a great variety of food and a window seat with a view of the golf course.
The staff was excellent and very helpful.
My stay at Corina's accommodation in Castlerock was lovely, the accommodation is comfortable, warm and beautifully decorated. The location is good, a nice walk into town. Corina was so welcoming and helpful. Ennis is lovely, such a nice town to visit, plus Ireland's Tidiest Town! Thanks you Corina, I look forward to visiting again sometime :-)
Perfect location for visiting County Clare, right in centre of West Clare.
The house exceeded our expectations when it came to cleanliness and warmth! It is rare to get a properly heated house in Ireland.
Very modern with modern appliances and even decent water pressure in shower.
The owner was quick to respond to any queries we had.
Room was comfy, good base. Its an old hotel, I think the price reflects what you get. Location was good, 10 minutes drive from Ennis and great base when travelling around Clare. Breakfast was great, lots of options. I would stay again. Just dont expect a flashy hotel and you'll be grand!
A well presented hotel with a warm welcoming feel. The furnishings and decor are very in keeping the with the age and style of this property. The room was very nice, quiet and clean with super comfy beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. Its situated bang in the centre of Ennis
Had a great one-night stay in this lovely house with an excellent host whom I also had the pleasure to join on an early morning stroll around the village. A perfect homely welcome on our first night in Ireland, waking up to a good breakfast with the hosts. Excellent indeed!
What a beautiful hotel with some good facilities and A1 staff! Very central and having a cafe and restaurant downstairs is a bonus. I also loved the decor which isn't quite finished but is looking good. Again the staff were excellent.
I would definitely stay again!
A charming, quiet and very well-kept guest house. Rooms were of ample size with comfortable beds; nicely tiled en suite bathrooms. Easy access to Ennis and major thoroughfares to tourist sites. Good breakfast carefully prepared by Marie, our affable host.
Host Gerry was very welcoming and there was a great atmosphere throughout the premises. Great parking facilities. Only 5 minutes from Ennis town and a great local taxi service. Highly recommended
The room was clean and comfortable. The property was close to Ennis and convenient. The location was neat and quiet, right next to a little river. The staff was friendly and helpful.
absolutely amazing stay. brilliant staff, that helped us out and made sure we could relax and enjoy our stay.
great gym and pool. perfect way to enjoy south west Ireland
