The hotel very kindly upgraded us so we were in the castle section with four poster beds which were incredibly comfortable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient especially the breakfast staff.

Margaret the host was absolutely lovely, very welcoming and she had a wonderful breakfast for us with cereals, tea, fruit and toast and jams. The room was beautifully decorated, sheets freshly washed and room and bathroom was spotless. Her garden beautiful outside too. Overall me and my partner had wonderful experience at hillgrove and will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you Margaret.

Everything. The accommodation and breakfast were fabulous. Helen was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The B&B was next door to the Lough Key Forest Park, a beautiful place to walk and enjoy a variety of activities.

Everything! The house is incredible 😲. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have possible needed during our stay. The house was huge and fitted everyone in our party 6 adults 2 children. The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well. The views were incredible. The nature was insane. We seen deer, bats and amazing variety of birds. We would love to go back!

This place is a hidden gem. The hosts took an old, aged but stately colonial and transformed her into an absolutely magnificent, luxurious home. It is right on Lake Arrow, there is a walk to the water and my favorite...a breathtaking walled garden and apple orchard. The home itself is créme de la créme - one of the very best accommodations I have stayed in. Well worth the stop. The Boyle Abbey and the Caves of Kesh are closeby and shouldn't be missed.
