We really, liked Michael who helped us with our luggage and was very pleasant and friendly. - Very impressed with Farnham for employing people with special needs. We liked the spa, the pool, and the location of the hotel.
We were disappointed at little added extras not being there since our last visit and that the 2 restaurants did not deliver uniquely different dining experiences. We noticed the walkways were in the process of much-needed renovations.
We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

First class in every respect.
First class in every respect. The rooms, breakfast and facilities were excellent. Most of all the host gave a great welcome and tea in the living room. The converted Mill is a beautiful environment. As a descendant of Glangevlin's McGovern family the stay was full of the best in Cavan hospitality.

We didn't see much as we were there for christening.
We didn't see much as we were there for christening. However beautiful setting . Everything seemed so far away from each other . There is a little town which seemed nice. It is at least an hour and half drive from Dublin. We needed a taxi to get from hotel to Dublin to fly home which cost €280.00 so you need to be aware of that if your not driving yourself. Every person we met or spoke to were so friendly .

We were really surprised at how much there is to do in Cavan.
Lakes and trails a plenty and it’s very easy to head out to neighbouring counties too!
We found the restaurants we eat in to be of a really high standard.
The stunning location of the cottage. In Ireland you can best find your way with Google addresses, so finding that was not a specimen at all. The fireplace was prepared, we felt right at home straight away. We felt at home from the minute we arrived and were so sad to leave. Aishling the host is amazing. Lovely peaceful area that is so close to a little town called Ballinagh and it's a short distance to Cavan town.
We had a warm welcome and enjoyed our weekend stay in Toddy's Cottage. It's a lovely cottage just outside town with all the amenities we ever wanted for a weekend stop-over. The cottage has been refurbished properly and everything is clean and tidy. The cottage is located in a green setting and a calm corner of the country. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
Greets from Belgium & Dublin.
Bridie and Mary made us feel at home. They are very accommodating, friendly and genuine hosts. The cottage is stunning, spacious, cozy and warm. Beautifully decorated and very well maintained by the two lovely sisters. Continental breakfast is available in the kitchen. The location itself is in a quiet country side of cavan over looking the golf course. We've enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend it to everyone.
We liked everything about the house which was in a great location, all rooms were was very spacious and good facilities. Wifi connection was excellent. Our host Carmel/family were very helpful. We were not far from the venue of our friends party. We could walk down to Cavan Town but taxied back because it was uphill all the way.
We would certainly stay there again when we visit Cavan.
the quietest hotel I ever slept in, friendly staff. Good food at a reasonable price. The manager (owner ?) took the time to speak to us at dinner and appreciated our custom. Our waitress Erin was exceptional. We had breakfast delivered to bedroom which was beautiful and filling. Overall very happy with our short stay and would highly recommend and stay again given the opportunity
Very comfy bed, lovely and clean room and the location was perfect for us attending a wedding at the cavan crystal hotel.
Self service breakfast was great and plenty of choice
Host was lovely, very helpful and friendly
Loved absolutely everything & everyone! Helen is such a warm, wonderful lady!! My family is from Ireland, specifically Cavan, so Helen’s location was everything I heard about my ancestors who grew up in Ireland.
Spa is fantastic. I know this hotel well. Stay in it when in Cavan. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Services around the pool, for water/tea/relaxation are fantastic.
it’s perfect location to get to my work for the short stay in Cavan and rooms are amazing and comfortable. I thank everyone (the staff) at the hotel for being so friendly
