Trogir centre is a classic old Mediterranean town with well preserved architecture which in my view rises well above its modern touristification. It is also a big marine centre. In summer though it gets choked with traffic, come by bus (or ferry from Split in summer only) if you can. Our stay this time was very short but we liked the atmosphere of the old town. Lots of tourists still but quieter in the evening. walking inside the old town is easy, it is so small that one cannot get totally lost, the sea always lurks at the end of some street. The main road outside the old town is now under repairs, that a litte bit cursed difficulties for walking - but a passing problem! Maybe the walking bridge - which was not in use now - will also be repaired.

I love Trogir, it was my second visit.
I love Trogir, it was my second visit. The city has all these little streets and historical buildings that are very cool to see. The town gets a bit crowded in the evenings, if you want to explore, it's better to do during the day time. There is a number of small museums but they aren't very informative or interesting, I planned two days for the sightseeing and museums but that was too much time. That said, it's a magical experience walking those cobblestone streets having the city's long history in mind. It's obviously not at the scale of Dubrovnik or Split but it's a lot less crowded.

Old town trogir is a beautiful place.
Old town trogir is a beautiful place. It's quite small so you can easily walk through it in few hours. Bars and restaurants are abundant. We visited in October which I guess is not high season. The temperarture was perfect, 25 C during the day and still pleasent in the evening. A very relaxing stay. We visited the castle and the museum. Neither of them was very impressive. The castle should only be visited for the view. There is not much to see inside.SvenSweden

Esther and Ana were incredible from the time we arrived. Dining recommendations, transportation assistance, personally arranging a Dr. to visit the hotel to administer COVID tests required before flight home. I could go on. The outside areas available to use made the stay for us. We loved watching the comings and going’s in the marina and looking over to the beautiful old town of Trogir at dusk as we enjoyed an aperitif in the beautifully furnished gazebo! We were even invited to watch Sonja and her husband perform with their Klapa group singing beautiful traditional acapella Croatian music! Magical!

For an economy room, it was very spacious and the bathroom was large. Air conditioner was perfect for the hot summer weather. Perfect position in the middle of town, but down a side street so at night it was not too loud. Ivan showed amazing Croatian hospitality, gave great recommendations and was always easy to contact at any time if it was needed. Would definately stay again and recommend to others!

Rooms are slightly old-fashioned Croatian style with lots of wood, but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a small buffet and a choice of eggs - they made me a delicious omelette. The ladies who run the hotel and look after breakfast are really friendly and helpful. it’s also great to have the outdoor bar right in front - it’s my favourite in Trogir.
