Breakfast was normal, nothing to boast about. It has the usual hot, cold food to pick from.

This was a lovely place to stay for one night in Motovun. It was clean, cute and super quiet. We were offered welcome drinks on our own balcony and breakfast (available for extra charge) was also served there.

Nice host. The apartment was clean, bigger than I thought it will be and had everything we needed. Location near Motovun, just few minutes by car. We really enjoyed in night bath in jacuzzi.

Great place for lovers of medieval hill-top towns and truffles. One can enjoy just a stroll through the town and views of surroundings for an hour, can have a great dining experience or stay for days and explore Istria, one of the prettiest and welcoming places on earth. "Medieval" and "hill-top" also mean that you walk a lot on rugged cobblestone, you walk uphill and climb stairs, and "great place" means it's crowded in the high season (summer). Still, one of the better places to escape to from crowded coastal towns, focused primarily on visitors' wallets.

A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore.
A classic medieval town that was so fun to explore. Be sure to visit the cathedral (opened about 10 during our visit) and (carefully) climb the bell tower for a spectacular view of the valley and beyond. We visited in late October when some businesses had closed for the season and others were winding down. We would visit again in September.

Great location in old town.
Great location in old town. Wonderful people and amazing views from the walls and restaurants. Wine and truffle country and free samples were almost too much. Lol
Tiny and hilly old stone streets within a walled city oozing with history.
Our host was gracious, laid back and a pleasure to just chat with.
We would highly recommend.

It's a spectacular location on a hilltop with amazing views all-round of mountainous country including vineyards & olive groves. Delicious and reasonably-priced restaurants at the very top, friendly people, tons of charm. Nearby are several vineyards & the local wines are very nice, and affordable. Easy day trips to Pula, Rovinj, Buzet & others.

This was my first time in Istria.
This was my first time in Istria. We checked out Kozlovic winery, we sampled their delicious wine and had a tour. View is spectacular. Had dinner in Motovun, tried gnocchi with truffles, very tasty! Pictures of the amazing views do not do it justice. Will definitely visit again!

Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria.
Motovun is lovely little town in the heart of Istria. I really liked it. The prices at restaurants in general in comparison to offer are a bit limited. However we managed to find something for ourselves at the end. We missed bakeries. We did not find single one so we travelled to Pazin on our way back home and found amazing bakery.
Perhaps tourism board should create a special list with all possible places providing food and menu of same, all in one place saves from walking especially if one has slight walking disabilities.
Everything else is lovely and look forward returning to Istria
Small, but very creative and cosy accommodation, the quality of the construction is exemplary. However, due to its size, it is only recommended for short holidays, but that's okay, the area is very beautiful and there is a lot to explore so one probably won’t spend much time at the accommodation. Very quiet, peaceful, easy to relax. The view from the terrace of the accommodation over Motovun is spectacular.
The hosts were very nice and helpful. Ideal for couples.
Absolutely a very nice place and hotel! Even you can stay with your dog. A room and breakfast are very good, without any complaints. The hotel is on top of the hill but they provide their parking on the bottom and pick the custom up to the hotel with luggage which is very helpful. Also there is a very good restaurant. The hotel has big spa with sauna and swimming pool. So, I definitely will be back one day!!
Location is really nice, with beautiful view of Motovun. It is also very close to wine tasting and just a few minutes drive to Motovun.. It has parking reserved in front of the room. It included breakfast as well in the price. Very good value for money. The owner was also very nice. Room is small but good for a couple of nights stay and included tv aswell. The pool area is also very nice.
We were quite thrilled with the way the apartment looked. It was beautiful in the pictures but in reality it was even better. Quite spacious, modern and very very clean and tidy. The bed was comfy and big. The host was very polite, sweet and helpful. The location is incredible, just a 15 minute drive from the Motovun centre.
Great location for enjoying the hilltop village of Motovun in a Beautifully renovated old stone house.
The owners Mirjana & Miro are wonderful people and very committed to making their guests happy.
Going on a truffle hunt with Miro is a must & enjoying the spectacular truffle lunch Mirjana prepares is a real treat.
The place is beautifully decorated, very cozy, feels more like home than hotel. Because tourists are not allowed to park inside the town, owner drive me to back and forth to my parking place to pick up and drop off the luggage. Free breakfast is also offered.
A super location for a stay near Motovun. Nena is an exceptional host who kindly took our bikes in and locked them away in the garage. She took us to the village in her car which is a 25 min walk up the road. She also made us coffee and pastry breakfast.
This place is spectacular and the food is unbeatable. You can be left alone and do your own thing and experience the town or you can go on an incredible truffle hunt. It seems like all Croatian host are nice but Lorena and Mikhail are stupendous.
Nice little hotel in a beautiful town. It is a little hard to find if you arrive by car/motorcycle. The owners are were very nice and the wifi was strong in the room. The bathroom in my room also had a wonderful view to the valley below.
Beautiful, super clean new apartment, with so many perfect little details. Peaceful location, 8 min away from Motovun. Great terrace with a view and an infinity pool. Ms. Ksenija allowed us to check in early.
The property is tucked in the far end of the old Motovun town past the restaurants and shops. Staff were super friendly, room was easy to access up a flight of stairs, super clean and simple
Lovely pool area, nice view to Motovun. Good breakfast, friendly owner (but he doesn't speak English). You have one of wineries practically next door, so good chance to make a tasting.
Rich breakfast buffet, comfy beds, excellent staff, great sauna. 15-minute walk to the old city centre, view from the hotel, restaurant and sauna is amazing.
