Leivatho Hotel, hotel in Spartià

Located in Avithos Beach, offering panoramic views of the sea, the family-run Leivatho Hotel features a swimming pool surrounded by a furnished sunbathing terrace.

Very nice hotel with modern design and multiple buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens that we walked through to the breakfast area every morning. We had a spacious room with very comfortable bed and private little terrace (our room was on ground floor), the hotel has a big swimming pool with a view to the sea. Parking in front of the hotel is usually full, but the other one which still belongs to the hotel and is located at the end of territory is very spacious and we always could find a place to park. And bonus - a really nice beach (Avithos) is just 5min walk from the hotel.

Spartia is very small, with a couple of mini markets, a coffee bar and a taverna. It's a great location if you like walking in the countryside, and access by car to a choice of beaches and to Argostoli town (and the airport) is quick and easy.

We loved Spartia, lovely a Greek village and everyone was really welcoming and helpful. You definitely need a car to get around. The beach was beautiful but too far for us to walk to in the heat. We are in Cavo Liakos one evening and it was lovely and a very welcoming host Katerina. The mini markets have a great selection of goods you might need.

Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia.

Spartia is just like the other villages of Kefalonia. Spread on a hill that ends in a beach, at the shore of the sea, it is not a destination for party seekers, though! Nor is Kefalonia for what I have gathered! But here, the people, the genuine Greek atmosphere, the silence, the birds, the goats, the wind, offer and create long-life memories. If you want to get out of your room and reach the beach in a second, this is not the place for you. Here, you obviously need a car to find the greatest beaches around the island and Spartia, beeing located in the South of it, allows you to take different directions , to its left or to its right, or even above it, to Assos or Agia Efimia. We didn't dare go further, as it would have taken us more of an hour's drive... To sum up, Kefalonia and Spartia, in particular, are great destinations for those who seek the true spirit of Greece, who seek peace, who seek great nature, good wine and the right space that invites to either spending quality time with family or friends, or to reading a good book! Enjoy!!!

I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre.

I liked Spartia. Villa was a short walk to village centre. It was near Argostolin and lots of beaches and sites and most of the places one would want to visit without being too touristic or on the flip side too far or inaccessible. Having visited most of the island I would definitely recommend this area. You do need a rental car as there are not a couple of busses a day

Lovely traditional Greek village. No bus service so if you wanted to see the island you needed to hire a car. Lovely restaurant within walking distance Cavos Liakos. Lovely food and friendly staff. Small supermarket for essentials.

Such friendly staff!! Nana, at reception had upgraded our room upon arrival which was so nice and the amenities were great. The property has a restaurant which has fish, chicken, salads, omelettes and even a coffee bar! They also have a breakfast buffet for 10 Euros per person which includes; coffee, juice, breads, eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt etc. We would totally stay here again!! Absolutely loved it, Spartia beach is right outside of the parking lot which is awesome when you want to stay local and not travel to a different beach!

The location of the hotel was excellent for us. Near a small beach, three restaurants with great food and a nice bar. The quiet of the location was a deafening silence, exactly what we were looking and hoped for! If you want to explore the island you will definitely need a car. Nana was great and very helpful for all the requests and questions we had! We liked the hotel and island so much that we wanted to extend our stay with 2 more nights but unfortunately the hotel was already fully booked. We will definitely come back next year!

The location was fantastic with great views and a short distance from multiple beaches. It was quiet and a very relaxing place to enjoy our holiday. The villa was exceptionally tidy and well looked after. It had everything you needed to cook evening meals and prepare lunch. The balcony was a great space to sit out and enjoy the view and lovely weather. The pool was excellent and the kids loved it! Breakfast had a good range of food and was prepared exceptionally well each morning. It was an ideal place to stay.

This was a basic, accomodation in a very friendly Greek village. I was greeted on arrival and was overwhelmed by the view from my balcony. The location was a bit remote but just what I wanted. I told the owner one day, that I was going to walk to the beach, which was quite a long walk. To my surprise, they took me in their car. In my room, was a kettle, fridge and microwave, which was all I needed. The village itself, a 3 minute walk was so friendly and after 2 weeks there, I really didn't want to leave.

absolutely amazing. highly recommend theros retreat. beautiful property, beautiful rooms, gorgeous pool area, location is beautiful. more importantly the owner Andreas is amazing. super friendly and went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable. you need a car to reach the property and the surrounding island/ beaches the closest one is a good 2 miles and not for the faint hearted but then that’s the case with most beaches on the island. we shall return next year

The welcome at Blue White Hotel Studio couldn't have been warmer. A home from home indeed! Super clean and comfortable in every way. The perfect start to my holiday in Kefalonia. I enjoyed two nights of rest and sunshine by the delightful garden pool. There was birdsong for company and delightful views of the surrounding countryside. (See my pic). Huge thanks to Effie and her team for their kindness and support. They're great ambassadors for Kefalonia. x

The studio is amazing - it is quite big and spacious. Excellent for a family of four. It has all the necessary amenities and also a very nice garden for the use of guests. There is a super nice view of the sea and the surrounding mountains. All the nice sandy beaches are no more than 20 minutes away and Argostoli is 15 min away by car. The owners are very polite and helpful so all you have to do is enjoy your stay.

The views from the villa are stunning! The pool and outdoor areas are beautiful, comfortable and quiet. There was a bottle of water and a bottle of wine awaiting us upon arrival. Spartia Beach, Waterway Cafe and two mini markets are just short drive away. There was a small cooler and a beach umbrella in the villa which came in very handy when visting the beach.

"Meraki" means "to do something with love". We definately felt that Rena and Nick take this name seriously! The guesthouse is amazing, the view is perfect, their recommendations about the island were pure gold. We felt like in 5* hotel. Thank you for that week!
