We were two hikers walking the Menalon Trail. As we arrived by foot to Nemfesia, we continued walking for about 1.5 km from the town's square along a road until we reached the Agropoli complex. We were welcomed by the owner who heard us coming down the path and headed out to greet us. The compartment is beautiful and the scenery is mesmerizing. The houses are surrounded by gardens that are kept tidy and aesthetic, pleasing to the eye and soul. The small house we stayed at was very clean and included all the amnesties one would need for a stay. Since we travelled by foot, we asked the owner what are our option for dinner. She smiled and reply that she can either cook dinner for us, or take her car to drive to town and eat there (!) We obviously pick the option of home cooking and she prepared excellent dinner. The following morning we had breakfast which was similarly delightful and headed off on our way. I highly recommend staying at Agropoli.

This is a great choice for walking the Peloponnese Way. The room had a small kitchenette with enough utensils to make a simple dinner, which was appreciated. Breakfast was great with a selection of homemade Greek savoury filo slices, cheese, boiled eggs, sweet fried Greek donuts drizzled with thick honey, cakes and greek coffee or normal coffee and tea. Everything was delicious and really enjoyed. The hosts are lovely people and we really enjoyed our stay.

In my three week stay in the Peloponnese, Guesthouse Panorama was one of my favourites. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the view over Vytina was fantastic. The breakfasts were enormous, and I couldn't do them justice. And, best of all was the very friendly and helpful owner.
Situated in the mountain village of Vytina, Archontiko Nikolopoulou was built in 1871, mainly from stone and wood, and offers traditional accommodation with a fireplace and handmade rugs.
