Magnificent views and trekking is amazing here. Super kind and helpful staff and great laundry services/facilities. The hotel is situated on a hillside of a mountain and this alone is worth a visit. The pool is good too. The village has a family taverna with excellent food.

The hotel was a few minutes walk from old town and the port. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very kind. The breakfast had many varieties and was tasty. The room was big, clean and had a balcony with the view of the Venetian port. We were able to watch the sunset at night.
The staff recommended places to eat and places to visit and they helped to arrange excursions with the pick up at the front of the hotel. They also arranged wake up calls and had breakfast box prepared for the early excursions.

The staff were exceptional the moment you step through the door it is pure bliss! The sea view rooms with private pool are worth every penny, the sunset views are stunning! The breakfast included is a really good variety delivered to your room, and you choose your selection the night before - the Oreo pancakes are delicious! The room service food and bar menu is also a nice variety, ordering and delivery to your room was so easy, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The steak, the cheesecake and strawberry mojito mocktail are all *chef’s kiss*! They provide pretty much everything you need all toiletries, both pool and indoor towels, mini fridge with water - the bed and pillows are so comfortable too, shower pressure and temperature all really good! I didn’t visit the spa on site but it looked amazing and is always a bonus. Don’t hesitate to stay, it really is worth every penny and the best experience of a hotel I’ve ever had.

The breakfast every morning was really good, lots of options and so nice to eat by the pool every morning.
The highlight of the hotel however is the staff! The team are all so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

If you're looking for peaceful traditional village life, this is the best place to stay in Crete! Small is beautiful! The village is in a stunning location with views across the White Mountains and over Souda Bay, while also being very accessible from the airport and ferry port via the national road. The local tavernas and shop are excellent. The Roman ruins at Aptera are well worth a visit and only a short walk or drive from the village.

A great village. Tavernas within walking distance. A real authentic Greek village with a friendly atmosphere. Very near local beaches and very near the beautiful town of Chania. The ancient site of Aptera a few minutes walk. Lots of walking tracks for the novice and more experienced Walker. A huge variety of plants and flowers especially in the Spring for the botanists amongst you. A great environment for a healthy stay. Loved it.

A lovely apartment with swimming pool for our family of 4 in a beautiful location with mountain views from our balcony. Our host Anna was very helpful and the locals were very friendly. Quiet country location with beaches and local ruins all nearby. A car is essential.
