Nice village with a bunch of taverna. Market, bakery. Everything that you need near. Also easy access to beach but you need a car or scooter. But highly recommand Ano Mera more quiet than Mykonos town.

A beautiful, traditional Greek village and square, which despite being in modern and popular Mykonos, retains the warm and inviting Greek spirit that you see and get on other islands. The tavernas leave you spoilt for choice thought Tsaf was a standout.
The beauty of Mykonos is that you get modern, tradition, expensive and affordable all on the one island. It caters to all!

Ano Mera was good for you want to be away from the city but still able to visit. It is only about 25 minutes from the city and the beaches but still far enough away to feel peaceful. If you do stay here I recommend renting a car or being very ok with using lots of taxis. While buses exist I was never able to figure them out. great for families or people who want relaxing nights and don't plan on going out at night.

We loved Ano Mera for its local Greek feel. Lovely square full of tavernas, and a Monastery which is interesting to visit. The village has a wide range of services - good supermarket, bakeries, pharmacy etc. Best tavernas were Odos Araxame and Fisherman.

Ano Mera is a quiet little village, ideal for only a couple of days. We stayed here for 3 nights in April before moving to Elia to another accommodation for a wedding. 3 days for us was just enough.
There are two bakeries and two supermarkets. There is a small square with a few restaurants but there wasn't much atmosphere. The restaurants weren't badly priced, considering we found Mykonos island to be extremely expensive.
If you're going to stay here you definitely need to hire a car or quad to get around/ travel to Mykonos Old Town.

Ano Mera is in the middle of the island - far from typical Mykonos attractions. If you are looking for peace & quiet, this is your place. Otherwise, you should look closer to the outskirts of the island.
This property is an absolute gem! It transcends the label of just an apartment; it's a veritable paradise. The owner and their team exhibit a level of professionalism and kindness that is truly exceptional. It's been a while since I've experienced such outstanding service. The setting is serene and breathtaking, with one of the most stunning sunsets I've ever witnessed. Ano Mera couldn't be better situated. I wholeheartedly endorse this place! Thank you for an absolutely wonderful time—I couldn't have asked for more!
The best part of this stay was Sofia! My husband and I arrived very early in the morning way before check in time and Sofia and staff did everything they could to get us in quickly. Because of island hopping within Greece, we stayed in multiple hotels throughout a whole week and We never experienced the hospitality that Sofia had, which is extremely appreciated. She provided great info on what to do in the local area and how to get around. Also, our room was very nice. Thank you, Sofia and team!
Jenny & Niko were absolutely lovely and welcoming, but also very helpful. We stayed at the studio for a full week and were able to go to different beaches (Kalo Livadi is a 20 min walk, bit steep on the way back but all doable) as well as to the Old Port of Mykonos. The room was super clean and super comfortable. We had everything we needed to make ourselves some meals for when we did not feel like going out. Great little gem, and great price for quality, strongly recommend.
The Hotel is beautiful very well located and pool area great
The STAFF was awsome Vladis(i hooe i spell his name correct)welcome us and help us with all our questions and accomodate us asap as we arrived…we arrived couple of our before our check in and he help us get the room in a few minutes after arrival
The housekeeping team was great..(never saw them but everything was always CLEAN) :)
There is also a Cute town Aromena little cute walking distance from hotel
Loved everything! The apartment has all you need, there is an attention to details that is remarkable. Kitchen is fully staffed (all kitchen appliances you need), bathroom is big and has all kind of utilities (also emergency kit and washing machine). Position is great to visit the beaches of the area of Kalo Livadi. Also 2 minutes from the Ano Mera center that is a cute and authentic Greek village. Efi (mama) is the best host: kind and very welcoming. Must go!
The staff is amazing. Elias answered all my questions and provided great orientation and recommendations and Raimonda literally made my stay feels like home.
My motorino stopped working in the middle of nowhere and Raimonda kindly came to help me in the middle of the night.
The hotel has a stunning view and very peaceful.
I enjoyed the swimming pool.
The place is very clean as well.

Near to grocery store, Pharmacy, bakery, bus station and beaches!
The room was great! Modern, new and most of all clean. Great terras to go with. Staff is super friendly and also the pool area is nice. I would definitely stay hesr again! It is a small 5-10 min walk to Ano Mera (the town) which has some great restaurants. There is nice coffee place 5 min from the hotel. It is 10-15 min drive to most parts of the island so very central location.
We loved it here. Ioanna is the host that any guest wishes. I regret not booking my entire stay on Mykonos here. Apartment is located in a perfect and quiet place. On top of that, we were provided with a lot of fresh water, breakfast amenities and nespresso coffee in the morning. As a host myself, this apartment has it all and will definitely come again when i return.
Mykonos Village was TOP-NOTCH! It's fully handicap-accessible once you reach the front gate, for me, it was key as I cannot do stairs. Pool/lounge LOVED IT. They cleaned the apartment every day and fresh towels! Responsive hosts - overall, they made my friends and my stay, for the first time in Mykonos, very memorable!
We were looking for a quiet place away from instagram-crazy Mykonos. What we found was the most instagram-beautiful hotel with the nicest people you can imagine! We got invited for breakfast even! The whole crew was lovely and amazing, we wanna go back!!!!!! <3 beautiful and clean! STAY HERE!!!!
Everything at the property was absolutely incredible. Antonia is the nicest hotel owner we’ve ever met. After travelling for almost a month it was so refreshing to stay here. They were so helpful with everything. Definitely staying here again
Mykonaki Hotel was so beautiful! It was clean and well kept. The staff were so kind and helpful. They gave us plenty of directions, restaurant recommendations and activity ideas. The pool area was so lovely to sit at.
great location on the edge of Ano Mera, and a short stroll to the beach. The host and her family were a delight, the most comfortable and relaxing place I think I’ve ever stayed in.
Everything was perfect, the hotel is beautiful and the staff was really kind and helpful every time we needed something! We will definitely come back here next time.
Absolutely everything!!! It’s our first experience staying at a vegan hotel and the reason for selecting Koukoumi. The food, staff and venue we’re outstanding!!!
