The position is good, near the beach and some mini markets.
I appreciate the fact that they cleaned our room once every two days.
The staff is nice and polite.
The owners got a restaurant under the apartment: the food is very good

Situated within a walking distance from the beach. Parking available, rather small but never had issue with lack of space.
Very friendly owners.
Green surroundings.
During our stay some distant hotel played music loudly, but that's nowhere Marianna House's fault.
Better rent a car to move around as I didn't see any public transportation when I was there

Lovely modern studio apartment right on the beach. Very easy check in and useful information from the host about things to do in the area. Use of new day beds on the beach was really great. We also used the kayak to paddle to Porto Timoni.

The apartment and views especially from the panoramic terrace were fantastic. The flat was very clean, with mosquito blinds on all the windows and doors. A cleaning lady made regular visits.
We also appreciated the location within easy walking distance of a beautiful beach, within a couple of minutes drive of a supermarket and greengrocer. We visited slightly out of season but these were open. Sunset views from Afionas were stunning.
The new swimming pool will be a great addiiton.
No issues at all with the wifi which worked perfectly for our whole stay.

The balcony- and its amazing view!!
The location - quiet and away from the beach - but still only a 10 minute walk.
It has everything you need. Towel and bed linen were changed during our 10 night stay!!
We enjoyed walking in the hills and valley. We visited beaches and villages nearby
We made use of the bus service
We used the quieter ends of the beach. The water was clean and swimming very safe
We enjoyed the food at our closest taverna “Angelos”
The Fisherman’s Cabin is very well worth the trip just out of the town

It was quiet, with smaller accommodation on offer - no high rise hotels. No noisy music at night or tourist shops, which was just what I like. A nice selection of restaurants and cafes, several of which we enjoyed with good views across the bay and sunset. The village of Afionas above the bay to the north is very crowded but has fantastic views and some beautiful streets. You can look down on Agios Georgias!
The sea is incredibly clear and wonderful to swim in.
We drove around the island a bit, which was easy and accessible.

Agios Georgios was a lovely friendly town, with lots on offer. Thr restaurants were all good value and served lovely food. Supermarkets were good value. Sunbeds can be rented from the restaurants. We also did a few watersports which were great fun. This isn't a busy resort it is just a nice amount of people with a very chilled vibe. A great find and I would definitely recommend.

Nice beach.
Nice beach. You can pay for sun beds or just stay on the sand, there’s a lot of room. Some stones when you get in (it varies along the beach) but sand afterwards. Many supermarkets and restaurants (Katoi was favorite). Moved around by rental car and bus (check the timetable and how to buy tickets).

Agios Georgios is so beautiful and very relaxing and everyone we met were so friendly. It is still a very traditional Greek resort, with no loud music bars and is therefore the ideal resort for those who just want a really chilled holiday.

Agios Georgios Pagon has the feel of a village rather than a resort. It is fairly quiet - in September - but has plenty of places to eat - mainly small to medium sized Tavernas - all serving fabulous local Greek dishes. There are a few family run supermarkets/gift shops, but don't visit if you are a shopaholic. The beach is fine - mixed sand and shingle - with sunbeds and free beach areas. You can hire boats, paddleboards and pedaloes from various vendores. There are some brilliant walks, but all are on the steep side and it's best to bring proper trainers/light walking shoes. Public transpoirt is limited to four buses a day to Corfu ttown and these get very full, so it's best to buy your ticket in advance, which sort of guarantees a seat! All in all a perfect place to relax, walk in the countryside, take the sun on the beach and swim.
