Georgian House Hotel, hotel in Winscales

Boasting a bar, Georgian House Hotel is set in Whitehaven in the Cumbria region, 29 km from Wasdale and 29 km from Muncaster Castle.

Lovely property in the back streets of Whitehaven, from the minute we walked in everyone and everything was perfect, the room was lovely the bar area and restaurant was also lovely. The staff were like a well oiled military machine wearing their earphones whilst moving around. Nothing was any trouble for them.

I think this place is very good for exploring Cumbria that most do not see (on the west coast), myself and my sons have travelled the coastline and trust me it is worth it. OK it is not a million miles from the mountain areas (Ennerdale), the road network is really good so if you do not feel like going up on the rock travel the coastline, you will not be disappointed, stormy days are best, it is awesome, beautiful England.
