Convenient for one overnight stay as central.

Convenient for one overnight stay as central. Needs more facilities if staying for longer. Owner didn't seem to realise we weren't a couple and needed separate beds so we were a bit short of bedding.

    Loved the town.

Loved the town. A proper working town and nice walks locally. Also really close to Goyt Valley which is beautiful. Saturday was tricky as used to late night restaurants in Cambridge. The curry restaurant sorted that. After that we made sure of service times. The Cock pub did awesome food and great veggie food too. Lovely staff too.
