Breakfast starting at 8.30am is quite late for us and they were very accommodating, with the chef kindly coming in for 8am so we could get on our way. Breakfast was delicious!

Exceptionally friendly and well trained staff. Good location. Dinner menu better than usual ‘pub’ fare. We plan a repeat visit in September.

A very pleasant place to stay and visit We eat in the hotel staff where very friendly - we walked into Tetbury and had a lovely coffee on the Snooty Fox and the staff were very nice considering we were covered in mud and they were just setting up for lunch - very nice town with nice shops and superb bakery.

Tetbury could well be called the antiques capital of the Cotswolds. I managed to visit over 12 antiques shops, most of them on Long Street. If you're not a huge fan of antiques though, I'm not sure Tetbury would be for you. It's a quaint and pretty enough town, but no more so than other towns in the Cotswolds.
I only ate there once (at Lola & Co) but the food was excellent.
Parking is easy as there are plenty of places to park for free (I parked on Gumstool Hill).
The weather was dreadful when I arrived (in the middle of Storm Ciaran), so I didn't get a chance to look around as much as I would have liked.
I used Tetbury as a base to visit the rest of the Cotswolds. It's at the Southern end of the Cotswolds so if you're planning to visit places like Bibury and Chipping Campden which are further north, then it can be a bit of a drive (over an hour) and you may want to be more centrally located.

Tetbury is small but characterful place; we loved the independent feeling and atmosphere. It’s also a great spot for getting round the Cotswolds. The range of evening dinner options actually in town (as opposed to a short drive away) is fairly limited though from a family perspective- booking a table in advance is recommended.

Tetbury is a beautiful town - no Costa or McDonalds! It has wonderful architechture and there are lots of interesting shops to visit, including antique shops and Prince Charles' Highgrove shop. The Ormond is fantastic. I stayed in a gorgeous room and also the food is great and is not a rip off. It has a lively atmosphere and a fabulous garden area to sit out in with stunning climbing roses and outdoor plants, including olive trees. It is spacious too. There are lots of other nice cafes and restaurants to visit, such as cafe 53, Quailes, Blue Zuccini and the Snooty Fox pub. Getting around Tetbury is easy because the town is quite compact.

Tetbury was a nice place to walkaroun with plenty of foof options including vegetarian/vegam. Also can park for free at Tetbury Goods Shed Arts Centre with a pleasant walk into town. The bread and butter pudding at the cafe next to the Arts Centre was incredible.
Lots of independent shops and cracking charity shops if you like a bargain
The hotel was perfect, set in glorious Cotswolds countryside. Everything about the hotel was professional and the staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for us. We loved our top-quality twin room with large comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was second to none and you got the experience of what it is like to be 'to the manor born'.
I look forward to staying again for sure.
Lovely to walk into a beautiful, cosy little house and find lamps lit and cake and fresh flowers waiting for us - immediate relaxation! Well equipped and beautifully decorated and so close to the centre of Tetbury.
Somehow managed to leave a bag of presents behind but host messaged me and posted on very quickly - much appreciated!
Trouble house is an excellent place to stay. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had a very good shower. The hostess Jacque was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. It is close to Tetbury and in a good location for visiting many places in the Cotswolds.
The house is spectacular. It is one of the most magically appointed homes we've seen in all of our travels. The art is magnificent and spans from modern to many gorgeous antiquities. The owners were wonderful in helping to guide our Cotswold experience with perfect recommendations for our journey.
Gary and Nicola were the best of hosts. We felt so welcome and they were extremely accommodating. This boutique hotel is very eclectic but comfortable and full of fascinating art - all of which has a story. And it's in the absolute heart of Tetbury.

Lovely old dog friendly cottage within easy walking distance of Tetbury . It was very warm and cosy despite the dreadful weather we had at the time . Little touches like fresh flowers and a cake on arrival were appreciated.
The location to everything in Tetbury cannot be beaten. This is a lovely hotel with a Resturant and a great bar attached - the service was exceptional and the food including breakfast very well presented.
It was really cozy and in a central location a short drive from the national arboretum. The staff were lovely and it is right in the middle of Tetbury High St with lots of nice pubs and cafes nearby.
