It was really nice and clean. The enclosed balcony was brilliant so our little dog could just wander round without us having to worry about him getting out. It is in a nice quiet area as well so we could just chill and relax away from the added crowds near the main centre.

Enjoyed walking around the town, there was plenty of reasonably priced pubs and shops in the area, most of it was within walking distance.
Found a nice cake and coffee shop called ginger cow cafe & bistro.

Very disappointed with Tattershall lakes .
Very disappointed with Tattershall lakes .
The facilities were dirty and expensive and not worth the money . We booked a weekend here through booking.com and ended up in a private rental. We couldn’t contact the owner for most of Friday to find out any information. Then when we did manage to contact them we had go pay £90 for club passes which were for the indoor swimming pool because the outdoor was closed . We were told the swimming was booked up and we should have pre booked which we wasn’t aware of !!
We basically paid £90 to use the arcades which were not great but at least the children were able to have some fun .
We went over to watch the entertainment on Sat evening but the mouldy smell inside and dirty chairs and tables made us leave early to try the spitfire restaurant. This experience wasn’t any better because our food turned up but they didn’t have any clean cutlery for us to eat with . We also received our fries after finishing our burgers . The food that we received was nice and reasonably priced .

Tattersall a lovely area.
Tattersall a lovely area. The castle is definitely a must see, but be ready for a very long climb, but worth it for the view. There's handy shopping near by, lots of local pubs for eating or just for a pint. Highly recommend the White Bull at coningsby.

The sofas were filthy, stains all over them and the dining area seats also. They were so bad that we didn't feel comfortable sitting on the sofa or the dining seats, the stools also were filthy and stained. We used our own clean dog blanket to sit on as it was cleaner than the seating areas. The carpet in the lounge was filthy, with lots of stains. We felt pretty uncomfortable sitting anywhere in the lodge apart from outside where the cushions were obviously new. We hardly spent any time in the lodge due to this. There weren't any towels provided ( hand or bathing). The description on your itinerary stated " linen " included which one would have thought meant towels!! We sent a message and never received a reply from you which stated " usually replies within 24 hrs". We had to use our swimming towels every day to shower, wash with etc. There weren't any teaspoons, so we had to make tea with big tablespoons. No placement or drink mats, as we wanted to protect the table from stains. My husband made some out of a cornflakes packet!!! There wasn't a coffee table to put drinks on either. However, the cleanliness of the rest of the cabin was good. The inside glass tray on the microwave wobbled about as the support ring was missing, making it difficult to heat things up. No TV in the bedroom. We purposely paid for a Deluxe caravan but this clearly was a basic. We have stayed in others that have been far superior so we were expecting the same standards. Overall very disappointing and not at all happy with the accommodation you provided. I complained to Away Resorts at the desk who kept saying it was nothing to do with them but down to you as we had rented it through you.
